Do Tell: What are your Similar Traits?

Although I am the perfect mix of my mother and father, I have grown up to be my father's twin in terms of looks and sense of humor, we also share the same love for spicy foods and agree on what a vacation is all about!

In the spirit of Father's Day, ladies, do tell, what characteristics or personality traits do you share with your father?

Everytime my mom runs into an old highschool friend they always tell me how much I look like my dad (thanks peeps, so basically I look like a man! JK). I got the big nose, the psoriasis (luckily just a little on my elbows), the thick brown hair, and my toes pop when I walk like him (its a dead give away when I'm sneakin around)!! lol that all sounds like bad stuff but oh well that is what makes me... ME, and also what makes me his daughter. Even though we may not get along sometimes I still love him! Oh yah and I also recently noticed that I get cranky like him when I've been out grocery shopping too long.

I picked up dad's taste in music (my very first concert was going to see the Stones with him) and dry sense of humor. I have his eye shape, knees, and horrible sinus cavities.

We share a birthday...I'm born exactly 25 years and 25 minutes after him:):) We're Gemini's so everyone says we're exactly alike..I've inherited his nose and unfortunatly, his unruly eyebrows, meaning I have to pluck often:( lol we've also got the exact same sarcastic humour. We both watch people when we're out and make up false lives for them...without even realising we both do it!! I also think I've picked up of my Dad's willingness for life...everything is an experience to be had and something fun is always around the corner.

i look just like my mother when she was my age, but my personality definitely comes from my dad. we share a love for history, books, and a passion for arguing (usually about history or politics), and we have very similar tempers, including the "mean face" we get. my mother says we're two peas in a pod. we're also both pretty crafty (we like to make craft projects) and i'm a daddy's girl without a doubt. i'm proud to have him for my father and sometimes it makes me indescribably sad to know that one day i'll lose him. i'd do anything to make him happy and i love him more than i can say. he's been a wonderful father!

My dad and I get "our" jokes. We both are mean in a funny way, you know gossip. We both like to make fun of our dog when he's just being funny and my mom likes to be motherly to my dog heh. I also have his control issues, saying "no" all the time, and smarts ;). He annnnnnnnoys me so much and gets me infurriated, but I still love him anyway.

My father is gone, but I definitely has his personality, from his humor to his compassion, to his eruptive temper. And I have to point in his direction when it comes to my teeth, unfortunately.

I had to really think about this, I'm usually known for being a copy of my mom.. I have my fathers feet, we're both able to pinch and pick things up with our toes and they're very square, very thick eyebrows, strong hatred of the sweet potato, and sarcasm. Heh. Cute topic.

My dad and I look a lot alike (in my senior picture I look like I could be a twin for his mother in her senior picture - eerie!), tall and rather wide with dark hair and dark eyes. I have my mom's pasty skin and freckles, though. Personality wise - I have my dad's dry sense of humor, his love of history, and his sweet tooth. My dad died almost 4 years ago from lung cancer - and I miss him terribly.

i've been told i'm the female version of my dad, personality-wise. i'm pretty argumentative, sometimes pushy, and like things my way. on the flip side since we're both so firey, our tantrums never last long so even when we fight we make up really quickly! BUT, i'm only like that with friends/acquaintances who like having arguments. i can also be nice! ;) oh and when it comes to my boyfriend i'm a total lamb. he's way calmer than i am and always helps me chill!

I look a lot like my dad. We DEFINITELY have the same sarcastic sense of humor and quick wit. As I have been told by many people, I also have the same "fire" in my eyes. I'm proud to be like him.

A lot of people say that I look like my dad so there is one trait right there. :) We share of a love of good storytelling in all forms, creativity, sense of humor, a crazy look when we are mad, our metabolism, and a love of wrapping presents.

Oh, and when we laugh really hard, we don't make any sound hardly but you can hear the air moving in and out. It's quite funny. And both of our knees pop when we squat. We share some interesting things, huh? lol

My Dad and I look so very much alike. My features are just a bit more rounded and feminine. We both do this crazy clumsy thing where we lose our balance for no particular reason. We both are really into music, and love discovering new musicians and artists, and often share them with eachother. He is very artistic (but then again so is my Mom). We both sort of have the same 'forgive but never forget' mentality.
