Do Tell: What Embarrassing Things Do You Ask of Your Significant Other?

Do you ever ask your boyfriend or husband to carry your purse when your hands are full? Do you send him to the store to buy you tampons or drag him to yoga classes on Sunday morning even though you know he'd rather be watching football with his buddies? Sometimes we do things we loath just to appease our significant others so ladies, do tell, what embarrassing things do you ask your partner to do with or for you knowing he'll say yes?

I'm a teenager, and I constantly sent my boyfriend to fetch me tampons or pads. My period comes in the most unexpected moments and even though I carry my pads and/or tampons, sometimes I forget that bag and Oops! there it comes. But he's so used to carrying my personal stuff, it doesn't even bother him anymore. His friends constantly make fun of him because they find Midol and Ibuprofen in his backpack, lol.

My hubby doesn't get embarrassed, he is confident enough within himself to be able help me anyway I ask. We are 50/50 in all things... Accept of course the things I can't do...because, of my shyness or lack of strength..but carrying a purse for me or going to the store for me most times I don't even have to ask, he already knows.

Katies104, Actually my boyfriend pulled one of those portable tampons (the yellow packaged one) out of my purse and started to open it... He thought it was laffy taffy!!!!! It was hilarious :) I still tease him about it :ROTFL:

Heres the worst thing I've ever done. My boyfriend and I were going to the fair so I didn't want to carry a purse. However, I was on my period so I needed to have readily available tampons. I had one of those portable ones they had commercials for that supposedly look like candy wrappers (they don't) so i put it in my boyfriends pocket. He was like whats that? I was like just keep it, please.

My boyfriend has bought me tampons and Midol before. He actually even has some Midol in his car. If I'm trying something on, he doesn't mind holding my purse at all, I'm usually apologizing about it but he says it doesn't bother him since I'm right there anyway. He doesn't usually mind going shopping, either, because he likes to see me try things on and pick things out he thinks I'll like. He also usually gets to come in the dressing room, so I guess that doesn't hurt.The only thing I can think of that he does is watch movies that I like, like Audrey Hepburn movies. It might be a little embarassing that I put a lot of very unmanly movies on his Blockbuster queue.

My boyfriend is really hard to embarrass, especially now that we've been together for three years. And I can't think of what used to embarrass him. He too offers to hold my purse when my hands are full, and even once used the opportunity to sneak Juicy Couture parfum into my purse while I was shopping for prom shoes. But, embarrassing, I don't know but I'm certainly going to ask!

I don't think my husband gets embarrassed too easily...I can't even think of any situations...I know he's bought me tampons at CVS several times and hasn't batted an eye.

He carries my purse, he comes with me to get my pills, I drag him to makeup counters. He doesn't mind. He works at Target in the Health and Beauty department; he's totally used to straightening out boxes of tampons and whatnot.

My husband has never been one to get embarrassed..so, he doesn't hesitate to do anything for me or go get anything I may need. Oh, there is only one area he does get embarrassed, and that's dancing. Sometimes he surprises me and does it..and it's so much fun!. We always have the best time. I think he is actually getting better in this area. :woohoo:

Nothing embarrasses my husband. He will carry my purse for me when it gets to heavy, get me pads/tampons when I need them.

My first thought was sending the guy to the store for a pregnancy test, something I personally havent done- but since we are married people wouldnt really look at a guy oddly who was married and buying a test. I do remember my best friend and I sending our boyfriends to the store for some random things we wanted/needed one night when we were all hanging out at his house. They got to the check out and put all their stuff on the counter. The guy at the register kinda snickered and the boys realized that they had camera film, Popsicles and condoms- they were embarrassed. They got back to the house and said from then on we were ALL going to the store together.

I don't think anything fazes my husband- but I don't ask him to do things I can do myself. I pick up all my own feminine hygiene products, I don't like chick flicks (and so don't request that he watch them with me), and I don't ask him to hold my purse- because my purse is small and easy to handle. I guess the worst thing I've ever asked him to do is try a dish that had tofu in it- which to me isn't embarrassing, but to some of his macho guy friends would probably be girly.

my bf doesn't get embarassed by ANYTHING. I swear...he doesn't mind or if he does feel uncomfortable he'll make a joke of it, but he still does it. He always offers to carry my purse, esp at clubs and bars when we're dancing...I think it's so I have more ummm...freedom to dance with him and touch him LOL (that MUST be his thinking!) and he doesn't mind drugstore runs for my feminine things either. Such a sweetie^^

My bf is awesome he does all the "horrible" girl stuff for me without any question. He'll hold my purse by me tampons he's the one that bought the test when I was afraid we were pregnant. He's very even tempered and doesn't care what other people think. He goes shoppign with me and tells me how I look even though I know he hates it. He even went to the gynecologist with me without being forced. I try my best not to ask him to do those things because he's so easygoing about it and it makes me feel bad but he honestly would do anythign for me
