A Do or a Don't: Phone Sex

I've never been one for phone sex — I honestly think I'd laugh the entire time, but for those couples stuck in a long-distance relationship, phone sex makes perfect sense! Since I'm a virgin in this department, let me ask all of you this question — is phone sex a do or a don't?

ive tried it once,he was more into it than i was..i had to fake orgasm...which was stupid, he had no idea. what i dont like about it is that being with each other is about the connection,eye contact and the love making..... becoming one person. so phone sex to me is kinda cheap because it has no feelings no physical contact ..Nothing! am very open minded about my sexuality ,am up to anything but phone is just a no for me. after all.. it depends on the couple.. who they are.. how close are they ?

i think in away phone sex is very sexy but it depends on who has the most experiance and skills. its kinda like a game to me only you dont take points. and it really brings out the ANIMAL when its really time to get to it if you know what i mean. lol:) its just a teaser. it make you just feen for the reall deal

I've never had phone sex, per se. But I like the idea of just having the phone on while we both touch ourselves, mostly because I am a very vocal person and I love listening to my boyfriend. I think it depends on the person; some people just don't like it. Some do.

My ex and I had phone sex one time and for me it wasn't all that great. Phone sex is similar to real time sex in that it's very important that you both are in the same place as far as how turned on you are because since you can't see them and communicate physically if you're not quite where they are then you're gonna get left behind. That's basically what happened with me. I wasn't into it as much as my boyfriend was so I just said what he needed to hear and made him think that I was enjoying it. I suppose I faked an orgasm via phone sex...how sad is that?!

Honestly, it is hard at first, but when my boyfriend and i were 6000kms apart for 4 months, it just made sense. we usually just talked about what we wanted to do or, like someone mentioned, talked about a particular night. it is odd...for sure..at first..but it helps you feel alittle bit closer when your an 8 hour plane ride apart!

when i was with my ex i sent him a few dirty texts as i think id be rubbish on the phone! but later found out that a friend had stole his phone and read all the messages! i never did it again! I dont think there is anything wrong with phone sex... perfectly normal!

when my fiance and i were long distance--we didn't do it nightly...but we did it maybe once a week? there were times it was hard tho because i still lived with my parents in a row home so i had to be about as quiet as possible. yuo feel corny at first but... we made it a lil more real by sometimes reliving a particular night we had or if we'd do it like a monday and i'd see him on a friday then we'd talk about things we WOULD do but... yeah i had to overcome the 'o god i sound stupid' thing

Yeah...I would laugh too hard. I'm open to it, but since I'm not in a long-distance relationship and my boyfriend hates talking on the phone, phone sex just seems unnecessary.

Totally laughing at some comments here. Not in a mocking way but just because it's true that a lot of people think of phone sex as corny. It's easy to think of it this way. Most people think there's a way to do it properly. I think it depends on the couple. It's a personal thing...both the style and manner of approaching it. Hmmmm...I say whatever is good for adding variety, spice and creativity to a couple's sexual bond is great. I think a lot of people think that phone sex sounds great in fantasy but the reality is that they'd feel stupid, silly, awkward and very shy...even with a close partner. I think it is good to test the waters and see what happens between two people. If both people overcome shyness and apprehension, they'll get used to adding this dimension to their sexuality and it'll become fun and enticing. I also think it improves communication and expression overall between two people. Being imaginative, adding in mutual fantasies, talking in very sexy and seductive voices and even role-playing to some degree makes phone sex in a relationship even better. The best way to start off is just asking each other what you'd like to do if he/she were there, what their fantasies of you are and so forth. This is very straightforward and don't have to imitate Sharon Stone or Theresa Randall (from the movie Girl 6). I try to take my own advice above too. All of it. So if my fiance and I want to add this in when we are apart...I keep these notes in mind and give it a go. I do realize this is not everyone's cup of tea...even to try. But it never hurts to try. At least you can say that you gave it a go. LOL!

This sounds kind of corny, but I don't even think I'd know how. I mean, I get the general idea, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I could stay concentrated and in the mood. I had a long distance relationship and we didn't have phone sex. We saw each other once a month and the distance certainly made the heart grow fonder!
