When we saw these illustrations by Chris Hill on Flavorwire, we thought they were a clever (and impressively executed) interpretation of the seven deadly sins. The artist has used seven Disney princesses to illustrate the deadly sin they most closely match up to, like Belle from Beauty and the Beast representing vanity and Tinkerbell from Peter Pan as envy. I think Snow White should be sloth, because of the sleeping. I don't know who would be gluttony though...

I think it's an interesting twist, although I don't agree with how the princesses have been paired with the sins. I do agree with what someone else mentioned, that Tinkerbell was paired appropriately.

Snow White: I hardly think wanting one apple is gluttonous. Ariel: "But who care? No big deal. I want more." Aurora: That's what we're calling the comatose, now? Belle: When did she ever allude to her own looks. She sings about loving books! Tinkerbell: Bingo.

I've always hated Tinkerbell.....don't agree with the other princesses though. I agree w/ stephley, let's look at the "princes"

I think the only one that makes sense is Tinker Bell. The worst most of the princesses are guilty of is lack of ambition. Maybe he should leave the princesses alone and look at the Disney guys: the Beast was vane, Pinocchio lied, Woody was jealous…
