A Gorgeous BFF Bridal Shoot That Proves Disney Princesses Aren't Just a Phase

Some best friends wear matching friendship bracelets. Others opt for tattoos. But for Taylor, Nicole, and Shelby, whose decade-long friendship started as high school freshmen, it made sense to celebrate their bond with something a little more . . . magical. Over the past few years, each of the longtime BFFs married their own "Prince Charming," which led to a creative idea for a group wedding dress shoot. As self-proclaimed Disney fanatics, it made sense to theme their bestie bridal photos around something they all love: Disney princesses!

"This photo shoot was inspired by our love for Disney and each other!" shared Taylor of the trio's fairy-tale-inspired photo shoot with photographer (and childhood friend) Max Brasseal. "We are all Disney fanatics, visiting Disneyland multiple times a year with Disney annual passes. Disneyland has a history for us all," she continued, and it's not hard to see why — Taylor's now-husband popped the question inside the park, and Nicole recently took her 6-month-old daughter to Disneyland for the very first time! The friends take a group Disney trip every year, leading to plenty of special memories between the three.

Taylor, Nicole, and Shelby admire the strong, beautiful women portrayed in Disney films, and since so many of the characters find true love, there's no better theme for a bridal photo shoot. "We love how Disney represents women as princesses, how we think all women should be treated!" they said. "We know that life isn't always a fairy tale, but Disney helps us dream a little."

Shelby, who wed her high school sweetheart only a few months ago, used Belle from Beauty and the Beast as her princess inspiration, Taylor chose Cinderella, and Nicole picked Snow White. The stunning photos capture the essence of the trio's friendship, and they look like true fairy-tale royalty! So if you're looking for a unique way to celebrate the special women in your life, check out the full shoot to gather inspiration. Like Walt Disney once said: "If you can dream it, you can do it."
