Did You Fight With Your Husband on Your Honeymoon?

After the big day is over, I can only imagine how exhausted the bride and groom must be, and I know when I'm tired, I get cranky and easily irritated. Sure, honeymoons are all about celebrating each other and relaxing after the mayhem of planning a wedding, but being a newlywed doesn't automatically make you immune to arguments. A week in a remote destination can be a lot to handle so ladies, knowing you're only human, tell me, did you and your hubby argue on your honeymoon?

If I did have a bad wedding night what am I supposed to do about it now? I really really wish I had read stuff like this so we didn't have such great expectations. We were exhausted, tried to have sex (which didn't work out so well) then I cried and we fought and screamed at each other before collapsing to sleep. It's almost a month later and I still regret how that night went, like it was a bad start to our marriage. We talked for months before about how great that night was going to be, but it wasn't, and I'm just trying to feel ok about it. Please help, What can I do now?

not the honey moon. just the wedding night. the day was so perfect til we went up to bed, he was totally too drunk to even cuddle or be romantic and after a life time of imagining my wedding day pressure was high to say the least. A screaming match and crying for 3 hours certainly wasn't what I pictured. He feels awful to this day and I try to act like its fine but even though I've tried ALOT I still can't get over it. I feel guilty for still being angry but how do you make up for something like that.. ah well, 2 years of great memories have certainly done some good!

No fighting for us. We kept each other in check when we were getting hungry and getting cranky from that, but that was it. Instead of getting mad we simply pulled out snacks or got a meal.

yep, sure did. he was 21 when we got married, i was only 19. he went to the bar to get "us" drinks, he was supposed to bring them back, he ended up staying at the bar, chatting with a few guys, came stumbling back up to the room later so drunk. i was sooooo peeved off. but i forgave him the next day after he groveled and had a hangover... :)

We didn't really fight at that point in our relationship. That has come recently hah.

yes....actually we left on our honeymoon a month after our wedding, and the night before we were to travel we had A HUGEEEEEEE FIGHT. it was a miserable few days. :P but we got over it ;)
