Dear Poll: Are You Honest With Your Friends?

When you hook up with a guy, what's the first thing you do the next day? Are you on the phone with your best friend giving up all the details from the night before, or do you tend to keep what happens in the bedroom to yourself? The ladies from Sex and the City didn't have any qualms dishing their goods over brunch, and while I love hearing other people's stories, I'm much more private about my love life. What about you? Do you like to swap stories with your girlfriends, or do you like to keep those intimate details between you and your man?

I have a couple of friends who have no problem discussing their sex lives and then there are some who don't and that's fine. For me,when it comes to what goes on behind closed doors ,i keep it all to myself.A girl's got to have some secrets. :)

I keep things to myself for the most part. If I keep my mouth shut I don't have to regret things I've said.

I'm finding that my friends are more prudish than i thought. I couldn't say anything more than, "we hooked up. . .it was good". if i put emphasis on "good" they kinda give me this look like "what the heck". but 97% of my friends are in relationships, so maybe they just don't think like that anymore. and i don't get to hook up very often, (i'm picky about who i go on a date with, let alone hook up with).

I don't talk too much about sex with my friends. I agree w/ Marci though, when I was having some single escapades it was super fun to dish on what was going on. But when it's like, for love, I guess it feels more private or more sacred or something.That, or it's been almost 3 years and it's not exactly a revelation that we're doin' it.

I said 'no' but now that I think about it, when I was single, I definitely dished with my friends. Once I met my fiance though, I clammed up. I guess that should have been my first signal that this guy was different. :D

if i am dating someone seriously then i tend to keep more private- i don't want my friends thinking about stuff we've talked about when they see him! but if its a guy i date a few times and its stops, then i dish. cause then there are usually good stories! though my bff and i have shared more details about the guys we are serious with- but those conversations are only between the two of us!

Like Misslarue, because I will be married soon I do not dish much. My BF deserves his privacy. Plus, call me paranoid, but I do not want to be one of those women who tells their best friends how great the husband is in bed or that he has a ginormous penis, and then find out one of the girls forgot about the sisterhood and came onto him because you talked him up too much.New techniques or tips are about the only discussion i'll have with the girls.

I am a pretty private person, but my best friends know pretty much everything about me. We're like the girls on SATC in the sense that we've known each other forever and we talk about EVERYTHING.
