Dear Poll: Are You a Drunk Dialer?

Did you do any drunk dialing this weekend? I am not one who reaches for the phone after a few too many cocktails, but I have many friends who need the liquid courage to call the guys they like or make the inevitable booty call to their crushes.

When you're intoxicated, you seem to have a certain level of fearlessness that can feel good in the moment but humiliating the next morning, especially after you check your call log! So ladies, I know we have all done stupid things under the influence, but what I want to know is,

As I don't really have any exes of my own, I once convinced my friend we should call hers, lol anyway when we were drunk enough we went to the bathroom and called from my CELLPHONE to GERMANY and 12.30 am (in other words it was about 7 am in germany) and since we were in a bar we couldn't hear anything so I hung up and called him again and he obviously didn't answer the second time so my friend left him a message "just saying hi...bla bla" and soon enough I start screaming into the phone "you're an asshole you are such a F*cking asshole!!!". All I know is he never mentioned anything to my friend, we're not sure if he got the message because I think it was one of those where you have to dial * or soemthing to send it. If he ever did listen to it at least he kept quiet. :S

I love it when I wake up the next morning to see missed calls and text messages from friends that were placed at 4am. We are the late night friends, that even when we're not partying, we'll have people stop by at 2am if we're up. So after the bars close, our place is sometimes the next stop for a select few. You always know who was wasted when you return the calls and they have no idea they called you.

When i'm drinking, i'm usually WAY to drunk to even remember that i have the option of drunk dialing. I'm usually sleeping it out!

I have never once drunk dialed, simply because when I get that drunk all I really want to do is lay down and relax. My friends have called me numerous times when they are drunk though. It's hilarious and I save these messages to let them hear the next day.

Uh yeah when I'm drinking the absolute best idea all the time is to call my friends and tell them how much I love them...over and over. My poor friends. I also call my husband and leave ridiculous messages. I do embarrass myself but it's really funny.
