Dear Poll: Have You Already Broken Your New Year's Resolution?

It's only Jan. 2 — in other words, just two days into your 2008 New Year's resolution. Whether you promised to work out religiously, quit smoking, or be nicer to your parents, ladies let's be honest here: Have you already broken your New Year's resolution? I haven't!

I don't make new year's resolutions. I keep a journal of things I want to do and check that regularly. Once I have commited to a goal, whether it be January 2 or July 2 I stick with it and then mark it off my list.

See I've made resolutions, but they're longterms goals for the year - be a better friend, lose weight etc, but nothing like "don't eat blah" so I can't say I've failed yet. Only at the end of the year, or at least partway through will I be able to decide things like that :)

Nope, haven't broken it yet. Mine was to eat healthier and give up fast food. I have been doing well so far but the cravings are starting to kick in.

well, I am kinda in the middle. i kept my working out resolution, but then ate some chocolates tonight. so, I am going to keep working on that. =(

my resolution was to be more confident and sure of myself... but it's hard when my year long boyfriend just broke up with me and most of my friends arent back from holidays yet. despite all my efforts i still have these horrible moments where i feel completely worthless and want to call the ex. thank god our last talk was so devastating i've learned my lesson. :(

Well I'm not really sure. I didn't really make a resolution, but I planned to make one which was to stop swearing, which I've broken a gazillion times starting about 10 minutes after midnight.

I want to quit smoking.It is hard to quit cold turkey though.I only had two today though and that is pretty good for me.Hopefully by the end of the month though I won't need any.

it wasn't a resolution, but I wanted to limit my drinking and I had a beer at lunchtime on Jan 1st...YEAH, that didn't go so well, lol but i broke my pipe and have stopped smoking my reefer! yeay!

My New Years Revolution is to stop eat sweets and be in better shape... I just ate a cake :( ! Yeaah, it's hard to keep resolution when you have sweets at home! But I still wanna keep my promise. Maybe in next week :D ?

I vowed to eat healthier, and just yesterday I had Bojangles for breakfast. I broke it within the first couple hours! YIKES! Luckily I can redeem myself by being good for the rest of the year.
