Dear Poll: Do You Check Out Your Astrological Compatibility?

Most everyone I know loves reading horoscopes, though some people take them more seriously than others. Sometimes, the predictions and star-sign characteristics can be eerily accurate, but do you buy into the idea of astrological compatibility? I have one friend who, whenever she starts dating someone new, rushes over Astrology.com or somewhere to run a romantic compatibility report. Do you ever do this?

I believe in astrological compatibility! There are certain signs that just shouldn't be together, and it's been proven in the past.

Yup! I always check. I think that it's important to know the difficulties you may have so you can work to prevent/solve them and stress the compatible characteristics.

Honestly, if you are just checking sun signs and not putting in all the information (ie time of birth, place of birth), you aren't get a very accurate reading...

THIS is really ironic because I just started "seeing" a new boy and after a couple of dates I totally checked out our compatibility!!! ROLF!! Sadly, I think we're doomed. J/K

The Virgo description fits me perfectly, but my best friend, whose birthday is 5 days before mine, could not be more different! I don't take it too seriously, because of obvious discrepancies like that.

I love checking out the astrological compatibility reports, but I don't use them as a basis for my relationships, it's just for fun.

I never really believed in astrology. I only know my sign and am unfamiliar with anything else. Rarely do I read or look up my sign, compatibilities or what have you but when I have everything seems right on. Weird.

I've never put much trust in horoscopes, although I will read them if I happen across them. I have visited a medium before. My reading was kinda boring (which reflects my life), but my friend got a great reading. The woman seemed to know a lot about my friend that no one else knew.

i don't believe in it much and have never done it before, but i'm sure i'd do it if the opportunity presented itself or i was like soooo bored i couldn't think of anything else to do ;)
