Day 1: Checking In and Convention Swag!

We just had a great interview with Tom Sheridan that we can't wait to tell you all about! We're all checked in, and press-credentialed! Now Citizen and I are headed into the thick of the convention action . . . more to follow soon! And check out the DNC goodie bag good enough to inspire hope and change!

I used to live there (orginally from SF area and back here now) and I remember when I first moved there going out for drinks with my fiance at the time, I had one shot of tequila and I was tipsy. Normally it would take me a heck of a lot more than that to have an effect. Also I would get annoyed when I would come out here to CA to visit family and friends and not catch even the tiniest of buzzes after drinking all day. lol. So I don't know. :P :)

You know what's strange Milo...last time I was in Denver I thought that as well (I live in California)...and it had the OPPOSITE effect on me. I have no idea why...but I couldn't get a buzz to save my life! :drinks:

Oh and be careful if you drink any alcohol. It'll go to your head a lot quicker in the higher altitude. I learned that the hard way. lol

Nice swag! Be sure to keep that water bottle filled!! You will probably need to drink 24-36 oz. more than your usual at this altitude.

Is anybody else annoyed with the media right now? I've seen so many stories today about "friction" and "hostility" between the Obama and Clinton campaigns. How the big challenge this week is "unity" Just give it a rest! :oy:

i think that it's always fun to get goody bags while you're at an event like this - so it looks like you guys are off to a great start. i'm still really jealous about all the great stuff you're getting to - but at least we'll get to read about it right?
