Condom Ads: Too Much or Straight to the Point?

I just came across these Manix ads for super-thin condoms. While practicing safe sex, these rubbers allow you to be so close to your partner that you actually become one. Now I'm all for ads that promote safe sex, even if they push the envelope, but my first reaction to seeing these was T-M-I!

What do you think of these Manix ads? Are they too in-your-face or are they perfectly portraying their product: a condom so thin you'll never feel as close?

Doesn't look like an ad for europe - I don't even think that brand can be found here at all. Here it's durex or hansaplast. They are pretty disturbing images.

well i think its a good thing that they are promoting safe sex. but ultra thin condoms sound scary... wont they break easier:???

Well I love them! Definitely eye-catching and memorable. That's what a good advertisement should do- It's not like they're going to put these ads in children's mags anyway.

avocado_seed, I thought so, too! Hahaha, how sad. Anyway, after realizing it was NOT ad ad for Gossip Girl, I thought it was a bit tacky to have naked bodies in mid coitus like that. I hope that ad doesn't get plastered on the side of buses because it's pretty inappropriate. THEN, I was freaked out because their bodies are fused together. Eww! That's soo creepy! I've seen less "sexiness" on a porno cover, so this is just plain UGLY. Also, there's too much silicon side boob in the second picture. I actually expected to also see her nipples!

They look gross to me. I wouldn't buy these products. It's just not enjoyable to look at and the whole orb-of-light thing is really cheesy. I'm all for hot ads, but there's nothing worthwhile about this indecency.

Yeah, they're kind of creepy. I actually think they would be okay without the fused bodies (not suitably for teenage mags, for sure), I like the moodiness and think that guy is actually kind of hot, at least hotter than those sleazy super muscular square jaw guys that you usually see in this kind of ads.
