Caught Between Best Friend and Boyfriend
Group Therapy: Caught Between Best Friend and Boyfriend

I have a new boyfriend and I am not used to having one actually — sort of a new thing for me. Well I live two hours away from everyone I know basically and during the Summers I visit once a month for about a week or so. But lately I've been finding it very stressful to incorporate hanging out with my best friend and boyfriend. My best friend doesn't necessarily like hanging out with my boyfriend because he always brings his friend who seems interested in her — when she's not. I can understand this. And even if my boyfriend didn't bring his friend, it'd just be us three . . . sitting there awkwardly. And I don't want to make her uncomfortable by kissing him and stuff. So I make separate times for both of them. It's really irritating. Also, my best friend "jokes" around and says that I am picking him over her. And most of all, that "I've changed." I already told her I hate when she does this and she starts laughing and says she's just kidding. I think there's a little truth in there somewhere. I'm just so stressed and I feel like a sh*tty person.
