If your significant other buys you some sexy lingerie this holiday season, he too might be in for a treat — in addition to seeing you in the lingerie once he gives it to you. A UK department store used heart monitors to track the heart rates of shoppers and the results showed that men get the biggest thrill when shopping for lingerie. After lingerie, audio visual and sports equipment gave men the biggest "shopping climax" (their words not mine!). More research needs to be done to determine whether excitement or embarrassment caused the rise in heart rate associated with lingerie shopping. As for women customers, their hearts beat most when buying party dresses. Perhaps we're selfish shoppers.

I believe it-I used to work at Fredericks of Hollywood and whenever men came in...well, let's just say it was quite an interesting experience!!!
1That's funny. I'm wondering if my boyfriend would go shopping without me for lingerie.
2I can't believe research money is going towards this crap instead of cancer research.
3Oops, I just saw a department STORE did it, not a department. Still, this is pretty stupid.
4I'm betting its embarrassment. I have to practically drag my boyfriend into Victoria's Secret whenever I need to get cute new panties. And half the time he just goes into the movie store across the aisle. He thinks shopping in a women's underwear store makes him look like a pervert. And with my experience with my guy friends, that seems to be how almost all men I know feel.
