Btw, I wish Jon would understand that the Bible is the true Law and every human is subject to God's will. Looks like Jon and every one of his supporters are doomed to live forever in Satan's domain. People change, of course. I can only hope for the best.

Way to go Mr. Huckabee. This country is full of unrepentant sinners. I appreciate you speaking out against hypocrisy. Maybe one day the homosexuals will realize that God is the Creator and that they need to change their lifestyle if they don't wish to burn forever in Hell.

John Stewart has come a long way since his days of witty commentary on Comedy Central. I am so proud of him. I would love to sit down and pick his brain for a while. Individuals like him could really help transform our country's mindset for the better.

Hope, debates on the Daily Show are occasional, usually the guest is there to talk about a book, movie, show or article - or just kind of checking in. Huckabee's been on a couple of times - he announced his candidacy on the Daily Show and does check ins. Jon and Bill Krystol spar regularly, but they joke about it. Newt Gingrich has been on to pitch books without any debate.

Stewart was completely respectful to Huckabee. He allowed him to state his case.

I like Huckabee. :D I watched his show on Foxnetwork one time (a month ago or something), he seems like a decent fellow/host. I didn't watch the interview, but from the tidbits I saw, I was just wondering if John Stewart's show usually about debate between different view point/ left-right?

Just to be clear, by "foster home" (that's short term, right?), I also meant to add orphanages.

Some things should not remain just because it is "tradition". At one point it was tradition for women to be treated like property and breeders, for slavery to be commonplace, and the open practice of polygamy. Society has changed so much over the years that I wonder why social conservatives fear change or evolution in culture. And another thing, the banning of gay adoption is another issue that I cannot comprehend! Is it better for a child to live in a foster home or at a real, stable home? By the way, many children in this country live with single parents, so they won't get that "traditional" raising; still it is allowed. Oh, and you don't have to get married to have children, Huckabee. What saddens and frustrates me is that I made those same arguments (by Stewart) to my father, yet he can see no reason for why gays should be allowed to marry all due to one thing: he believes that homosexuality is a choice. That they choose to live a harder life so they must suffer the consequences. >:( Also, Stewart was brilliant during the interview!

I would be surprised if Huckabee ever went back on the Daily Show. That was a great argument from Jon Stewart, really made sense. He likes to say he is just a comedian, but he made a better argument there and got more out of Huckabee then most people. It is about time religion stopped dictating basic rights, and I say this as someone who does not believe in gay marriage in my personal religious beliefs.

Cause those over wildly popular.Nothing has ever been redefined in from this modern world to the past. Like my ability as a woman to own property...Just saying.
