And I do have to say that you can interpret almost anything as snippy. I thought, "so technically, it did reach the Senate" was snippy. But I don't really know how it was intended, it just came off that way to me. There are multitudes of ways to interpret comments made by people you don't even know on the Internet.

I actually thought "Richard Shelby and John McCain are not the same person" leaned a little ever so slightly a little bit towards the snippy side, but I figured a joke was a better way to respond. I'm doing my part to promote unity in Sugar Land! I am glad you're commenting again! Anyway, this is not even worth arguing over. Both candidates support divestment, does it really matter who supported it first? I remember now why I prefer to discuss things with people outside of Citizen.
