Also, just a point that bothers me in general (when all people do it) something can't be "more necessary." Either something is necessary or it isn't. The same goes for "more perfect." That has always bothered me about the Constitution!

Also, had you simply clarified way back several comments ago and said, "I didn't say having sex is necessary to healthy human life," rather than calling my question silly, I would have had no reason to continue to comment on why it isn't. Instead, you initially let that statement stand. When you did clarify I went on to say why I thought you were saying one thing.

And you also said a few comments later that if I don't believe a healthy sex life is necessary for the majority of people then it wasn't worth arguing, implying that you do believe it is. You can say you were misquoted all you want, but you weren't.

Sorry Lil, I had to work on a project - you know that I have never run away intentionally from a conversation with you. I actually said "A good sex life can indeed protect a person psychologically" I did not say that a person had to have sex to be healthy - you did. Then GS took it further, claiming that I said "that having sex is necessary to be happy". You both misquote me, say that what I haven't said is offensive and ridiculous and thus your points are proven.

And you're right, Hypno, the M word can play a role, too. I think that only serves to back up my point that you don't need person-to-person sexual contact to lead a healthy, fulfilling life.
