Delay is one of the most disgraced Senators right now. He shouldn't talk about things that he doesn't know about. Obama clearly is not a Marxist.

In my opinion it's only a matter of time before capitalism begins to merge into social democracy like the Japanese, French etc. Social Democracy: Modern social democracy is unlike socialism in the traditional sense which aims to end the predominance of the capitalist system, or in the Marxist sense which aims to replace it entirely. Instead, social democrats aim to reform capitalism democratically through state regulation and the creation of programs and organizations which work to ameliorate or remove injustices they see in the capitalist market system. "Social democracy" is also used to refer to the particular kind of society that social democrats advocate. While some consider social democracy a moderate type of socialism, others, defining socialism in the traditional or Marxist sense, reject that designation. This is what I believe Sen. Obama tends to lean to in his ideology. I also think that Mr. Delay is well aware of this point but chooses Marxism because it's close enough in theory and radical enough to be frowned upon thus accomplishing his intent to make Sen. Obama look a nut. Nice try.

Tom Delay should be in prison already. Here are just a few of dirty dealings: Before the House Ethics Committee was waylaid, it admonished Tom DeLay on three different fronts last year. The first was for appearing to offer a bribe to fellow Republican Rep. Nick Smith to win his support for the closely contested Medicare reform bill. The second was for soliciting donations from a company called Westar Energy just as the House considered a bill of crucial import to the company. The third was for using a federal agency, the Federal Aviation Administration, to track down Democratic members of the Texas Legislature who were fleeing the state to block a vote regarding redistricting (see No. 1 above). http://www.slate.com/id/2116392/
