"Am I the only person who thinks its WRONG that anyone can become a senator or president for that matter?"Please, after months of defending Palin YOU ask that??Who is most qualified to become a senator or president - should they just be lawyers, or business executives? How does that represent most Americans? Haus, the thing you are missing is that the voters elect the person. If you don't like who they chose blame them. Anyone can run, and the people vote. That's democracy!

Haus, I doubt anyone is cheering that anyone-without-experience-or-qualifications can get elected. It's that anyone-without-tons-of-money-and-special-connections can get elected. That's what people are so excited about.

Am I the only person who thinks its WRONG that anyone can become a senator or president for that matter? So many people say to me "i love that obama won because it proves that anyone can become president" or "franken's win will show that anyone can become senator" isn't that a BAD thing!?!? that just anyone, just any old idiot from around the block can get elected having no experience or anything at all?!? I mean, I'll give Obama some credit, I personally don't think he has enough expereince, but he was at least a senator, so I'll give him that. But franken?!?!! My grilled cheese for lunch is more qualified.
