Sunday Confessional: He's Uncircumcised

This week's confession comes from our anonymous Confession Booth group in the TrèsSugar Community. Weigh in with your advice below.

I'm dating this guy I'm into, but just had a chance to see what he's packing. And he's uncircumcised! It sort of took me off guard, but I really don't want to be turned off. Any advice??

I also dated a "hooded" man. I would suggest stocking up on bleach, fly paper, and a good therapist.

It would be interesting to see if you could "trick" him into a Briss. I know that a lot of goop can get in there, so maybe you could stretch the truth about getting bladder infections or something. Warning: you get a dude to cut off a turtle neck and you'd better be prepared to hear about it for many, many years.

I don't see how it matters either way. I do agree that it's easier to stroke an uncut one without using lube. For the person who told the guy you'd play with his penis to figure out what feels good-you should get a toy and let him do the same to you. I'm sure your guy would love the opportunity to be able to gaze on that area awhile. Sorry for being so graphic but if you let your man do this he will be REALLY happy-and so will you. :-)

And Amile is right that circumcision is less popular now. But the rate for adult men is still above 50%. Unfortunately, there's also a lot of peer pressure that results in men choosing to get their penises mutilated in adulthood. Sadly, although the fact that it's a deeply harmful and useless procedure has been known for 60 years in the medical community, that knowledge still has not filtered down to the general public, who are still mired in outdated notions and myths about the so-called 'benefits' of circumcision.

An intact penis is healthier for both partners. Heck, if you're in the US, you're lucky to find a man who has all his sexual equipment. Most here are mutilated and sexually dysfunctional, and in ten years they'll need Viagra to help them get an erection. Many Americans are surprised to learn that only about 10% of the world's men are circumcised, and that the rest of the world views it as a disgusting and harmful mutilation.

Some babies need to be cut if the skin is too tight over the head. Sometimes so tight it can not be cleaned properly. This can lead to infections and hinder the head's growth so that has no mushroom to it, and is just like a tube and NOT as pleasurable to the lady and nasty. It can cause unhealthy curvature too. So yes sometimes it is a problem, sometimes not at all...

There is a myth that circumcision is common in the US of A. It was 30 to 50 years ago but in the last decades circumcision rates have dramatically declined so that now most boys are not circumcised. Those boys are becoming young men now and out and available to young ladies who are growing up knowing hoodies. Frankly, a foreskin is just as easy to care for as a vulva with all of its flaps of tissue. Just wash. Its even fun!

Cut (circumcised) actually did more harm than good especially in the US where most of it is performed right after the baby is born, which may damage the penis or the baby's brain because of the painful shock. The only concern is hygiene. As long as your guy clean it every day it is not a problem. The foreskin is a God's gift for a reason, (think protection). You should feel lucky if your partner is uncut. His foreskin has very high nerve endings for pleasure. ^_^ Sources:

You'll be fine. Before you know it you'll never want to go back to cut, and you'll feel so sorry for your sisters that have cut boyfriends. See if you can find some hetero porn with uncut guys and maybe watch it together. Most of these porn actresses really know what to do with it and you may get some great ideas.

The function is the same. Just make sure he is clean and hygienic. I.e., he knows how to clean his penis correctly to remove any buildup under the foreskin which can potentially cause a UTI or yeast infection.

Really? really? this is a topic to discuss about? I didn't realize this could be an issue for some women. I just think if it works it works foreskin or not.

Intact penises need different techniques from cut ones (more gentle, which ought to tell you something). But in general, people ought never to assume that one style fits all.

I was the opposite. My first was uncut, so being with another man after him that was cut was very different at first. In my experience, an uncut penis is a bit more sensitive and its nice that lube isn't a requirement, although sometimes still nice. The only problem you may run across is if your man doesn't clean well, but that's about hygeine. If he takes care of himself, you'll learn to love it. I think cut or uncut isn't much of an issue at all.. it's just something that Americans are fixated on because it's a bit unfamiliar.

I've never been with an uncut guy but I really want to try it. Loosen up, have fun, and stop worrying! And you're right Jake, at times women are just as physically judgmental (if not more so) than men. Though in the OP's defense, at least she's open to the idea. There are women out there shallow enough to reject a man for something like that.

It's nothing to worry about. Especially if he's from Europe where they don't normally do that at all. Even so you'd should know how many mother's chose to investigate why we all automatically circumsize our sons to begin with and don't even think about it until they've got them at the hosptial, with arms and legs tied down to do that. There's also plenty of medical reasons its not worth it to circumsize. So many women don't even know that. Anyway in the end if you get alittle education under your belt about it it actually might be better for you in the bedroom like above posts suggest.

My guy is like this. At first I was kind of shocked too but turns out, that as long as they can please you, that's all that matters. Don't let it get to you. If you like the guy and he at least gets it up (sorry if that is TMI) then relax. Worry, when he can't perform or he's too dirty. lol.

If you're really into the guy, you will get used to it and won't mind. If I were in your shoes, I would freak out at first too, simply because it's not what I'm used to. I've only been with a circumcised man as well. postmodernsleaze - I think uncircumcised freaks a lot of girls out because for some of us, it's not what we're used to. We fear the unfamiliar, so to speak. Our brains are programmed to be turned on by circumcised penis, so we aren't sure what to think if we come into contact with an uncircumcised one. Also, if we're used to handling a certain kind of penis, we might not be sure how to handle the uncircumcised. (I am using the term "we" to describe women like the O.P. and myself. Not speaking for all females, of course.)

in most parts of europe guys mostly aren't circumcised. It's a surgical operation and it's controversial if it's better or worst for them. If you like him otherwise it's stupid to turn ur back at him cause of this and sincerity from your part won't hurt just tell him ur not used to it. Talk always help

You'll get used to it. It baffles me as to why an uncircumcised wanker freaks so many girls out. But, you'll get used to it. Don't throw away a cool guy over this.
