Police have successfully captured the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing alive. This came during a frightening day that found the Boston metro area on lockdown. After an extensive manhunt that left one suspect, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, dead, authorities found younger brother and second suspect, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, hiding out in a boat in Watertown, MA. The Boston Police Department tweeted, "CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody."
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother are alleged to have carried out Monday's bombing that left three dead and over 100 injured. He has been taken into custody and to the hospital. Crowds gathered near the police showdown reacted with relief that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been caught.
