What Season Do You Want to Get Married In?

Some people love Christmas and most people love Summer, but I am a sucker for Fall. The changing leaves, the comfort food, and the brisk afternoons, I love everything about it. Even — you're going to hate me — the shorter days. So when I get married, it's going to be around this time of year, at Fall's peak.

Whether you're married or not, what's your ideal time of year for a wedding?

We got married outside in early October. Perfect.

Late Spring/early summer. We have been to a bajillion fall weddings in the last 3 years. While it's a nice time of year, it seems like we'd be overlapping too much!

I don't think it's important. I wanted to get married when the time was right. Who cares what season it is? I married the guy, not a fantasy about an epic romantic day.

Fall or winter. I think everything is more romantic when it's a little colder out! Plus, I live in VT and it's really beautiful here when the leaves are changing and when it's snowy.

I want to be married in the summertime or in October, when all the leaves are changing colors. I refuse to get married in "wedding season" - May, June and September - because the prices are so overinflated.

I love fall. Where I'm originally from in the United States, there's two real seasons: Summer and The Wet Cold That is Not Summer. So we were married in late spring, when the chances of 90+ temperatures were low.

I think fall is the most beautiful time where I live in the mid-atlantic, but my husband and I got married in the summer because we both work in education and it worked out better with our jobs for us to get married in the summer when schools were closed.
