Amy Poehler has signed a book deal — huzzah! The Parks and Recreation star, Saturday Night Live alum, and best friend to Tina Fey will be writing a memoir described as "an illustrated, nonlinear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons." It Books — a Harper Collins imprint — will publish the book in 2014. Along with Amy's diary, we can't wait to dive into the upcoming book by one of our other favorite funny ladies, Girls creator Lena Dunham, who signed a deal last year for a collection of essays. Both women join the ranks of talented female comedians who've penned popular reads about their lives, including Tina, Chelsea Handler, Mindy Kaling, and Sarah Silverman.
