Hey adults who play with Barbies (it's OK, she's 51 now), behold Mad Men Barbies.
Betty and Don and Roger and Joan are all perfectly coiffed, dressed, and ready for whatever people over 10 do with Barbies. I knew I was getting too old when I started giving them bangs and switching their heads and bodies, but these are collectors' items and not for maiming.
It's not the first TV show to get a Barbie line though. I Love Lucy and, weirdly enough, The X-Files had their own, but it is the first to license rights from the studio that produces the show, which is a complicated way of saying it's a marketing ploy.
There is one first, though! Roger Sterling and Joan Holloway are the first Barbie pairing to be an adulterous couple. Yay, society!
