Barack and Michelle Obama State Dinner With Queen

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip hosted a regal state banquet this evening for Barack and Michelle Obama. The president looked dapper in tails and the queen sported some sparkling jewels and a tiara for the occasion, while Michelle shined in elegant gloves and a Tom Ford dress slightly reminiscent of the white gown she wore on inauguration night in 2009. The Obamas chatted with the young Duke and Duchess of Cambridge earlier in the day, but William and Kate were not on hand for the occasion. Luckily, the English and American heads of state provided enough glamour for the special occasion — plus, stars like Tom Hanks, Helena Bonham-Carter, Tim Burton, Kevin Spacey, and Kristin Chenoweth were also on hand.
