Even if you don't live in South Carolina, let's pretend we're all from the Palmetto State! The polls are open, and while we wait for the returns to come in, tell me: Who would you cast your ballot for in today's South Carolina primary?

Hillary Clinton is the best choice for this country. When she is elected she will prove it to all those naysayers!

jillness i couldnt agree with you more. your probably right, fox news and republicans alike are just chomping at the bit to get their hands on hillary in the general election. they would much rather run against her than obama, he appeals to just about everyone. he has proven he can win a practically all white state and win over voters in the northern more conservative area of nevada. thats what i think this country needs is a president who can bring EVERYONE together from the left to the far right and i really think obama can do it. im team obama all the way to november!!

I think that the Clinton's style of divide and conquer campaigning is very old fashioned. They really pulled out all the stops this week, and it only backfired. 70% of South Carolina voters thought Hilary was unfair to Obama (granted, 50% thought both were unfair). As the Wall Street Journal said, this week reminded everyone why they didn't like the Clintons years ago. Me personally, I think Hilary could do the job but I think Barack would be so much better in so many ways. But I think that Hilary's campaign tactics will be her undoing. And if she makes it to the general election, the Republicans are going to let lose with 8 years of pent up rage. I think Fox News has been storing a bunker of mud to fling at her that might do a lot of damage. I think Obama's poise this week has shown that he can take it. He really came out of this looking above the fray, and I think the Republicans would have a hard time throwing him off balance.

Piper: I doubt that very much. Hilary put the nail in her own coffin. She's isolated her own sure thing with the black vote, and women with backbones (aka feminists) dispise her. she's outta here! Plus,people respect him more because he takes the high-road. THe Clinton have been carrying on like big babies.
