1Silly name. Silly men who came up with the name.
2they must have predicted that people would make fun of the name. My husband suggested they did it on purpose for the free advertising. I don't think apple really needs more free advertising, but people seem to be talking about the name more than the product itself, so I guess it's working.
3He's probably not a Mad TV fan, mostly because Mad TV isn't funny.
