Americans Heart Canada the Most — What's Your Favorite Country?

Nine in 10 Americans have a favorable opinion of Canada, making the northern neighbor America's most favored nation! According to a new Gallup Poll only 6 percent of Yankees hold an unfavorable view of Canucks. Judging from President Obama's warm reception last week in Ontario, the friendly feeling is mutual. Check out which other countries fill out the top-five list of Americans' favorite countries!

I reside in Canada but I love visiting the States and I personally appreciate it that Canada's culture or lifestyle is overall similar to that of the States.

Aww, this post makes me so happy!! I never realized how many Americans accepted their upstairs neighbour :) (haha... Canadian spelling of neighbour). I love Canada. I was born and raised on the West Coast (where we have 4 separate seasons), and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Thanks for the wicked post.

Morocco is my favourite country in the whole entire world! My dad's from there and I grew up there too- and I couldn't have been happier :) I love Spain too, I have met some the loveliest people there!

I'm Canadian and glad I live here. Though if I could change things, I'd like to annex Florida. There are no warm weather options here for living. LOL

i'm a Canadian, living in Ontario... so the love is so nice to hear! It's hard to pick a country. Of course I love the States and the diversity of its land... and the accents are so cute! I love Denmark (have family there) and Italy... and I've never been to England, but my dad i British so I have some love there. It's hard to pick a country.... everywhere is beautiful! <3
