Ad-rageous: Axe Body Spray Woos Hillary Into Voting Obama?

I don't think I've ever knowingly put my nose next to a man doused in Axe Body Spray, but apparently it's potent enough to make you endorse even your fiercest rivals.

What do you think? Does this ad campaign stink?

ALSO - the tagline imagine the power of axe? like bringing down a woman is a good thing. this is just disgusting.

it's 100% not funny, and i feel like usually have a good handle on offensive vs. not offensive. it makes women look incredibly weak, gullible and dumb. and it's even more insulting when it's a woman who is running for the largest power position in our country. OMG, i am really offended.

I have hated EVERY single Axe commercial and ad.Except this one. It's pretty subtle until you notice (1) the Obama pin and (2) the Axe blurbs. When I first looked at it, I didn't even recognize it as an ad (which might have to do wtih the fact that I was really tired. THEN I started snickering.In comparison to their other advertisements, I think that Axe finally did a good one.

I would find it funny if they also had the opposite version with Obama wearing a Hillary badge (which of course wouldn't make any sense with the Axe context).I'm really uncomfortable with this, it's the type of images you see years after, not during a campaign.

I can't believe these comments. No, this ad is not funny. There is no f*cking way Clinton agreed to have her image used like this. It's bad enough in the usual commercials how frat boys will be pursued by hundreds of bikini models, but 'Hee, this ugly cheap cologne's so potent it made me throw away a lifetime in politics to support my now-irresistible rival!' is far, far worse.

Axe ads "cleverness" always hinges on women either behaving like dumb animals or being powerless in some way. It smells terrible, too.
