I have a friend who is in college and really likes to go out drinking and partying every weekend. She actually parties so much that she has failed some courses as a result. I am the exact opposite. I like to stay in more and I study a lot and try to get straight As in school. Typical differences between an extrovert and an introvert.
Here's another difference. I am always sure NEVER to give out unsolicited advice. (I would never try to tell her to live her life more like I live mine because I don't think there's a good and a bad way to live your life as long as you aren't hurting anyone.) My friend loves to give me unsolicited advice all the time.
Whenever I see her, she almost always makes a comment that I should really go out and drink more. She seems to think I'm lame for staying in, even though I do go out with friends at least once or twice per week. I'm getting so annoyed at her because she obviously thinks that her way of living is the right way and mine is the wrong way. I really enjoy her friendship, and I don't want to say anything to her that would push her away, but I want her to know that I don't think there's anything wrong with my life, and I'm not looking for any ways to improve at the moment. I understand there is such a thing as branching out and doing different things, and I do that, too, but I am not going to totally change my life just because she thinks that's the correct way to live. Whenever she gives me advice I just try to avoid saying anything much — I'll just say something like "oh" or "hmm."
How do you think I can get her to see my point without causing a conflict?
When done right, smoking can be a turn on for some. By right, I don't mean healthy, of course. I mean using the cigarette to gesture. To inhale with thought; exhale with contentment.
And it never hurts if it's onscreen, so smell is not an issue. Smell — and cancer — is smoking's great turn off. But is it enough to make the most pensive inhale a drag?
News can get weird. Our Stranger Than Fiction feature covers a lot of it, but there's much more useless information to know. I've gathered some of this week's most bizarre headlines and mixed in some made-up ones. See if you can spot the real from the fake. Source: Flickr User ccdigitalfx
I don't like to kiss my boyfriend anymore because everytime we kiss he tries to make out with me. I get really stressed out about it and I can't get him to understand.
He takes it as a personal insult that I need to spend quality time with him not making out. Just talking and hanging out, you know? I love to be close to him and kiss him, but I hate that he always has to try to shove his tongue in my mouth of suck my face off. For me, that type of kissing is reserved for sex only.
So, my confession is I don't like making out and I don't know if that makes me weird or not.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! When it comes to football's biggest day, women typically have the reputation as enjoying everything about a Super Bowl party except the actual game.
That's not so for me. I grew up watching my favorite team play every Sunday with my dad and when a game comes on, I still know more about the obscure rules than some of the guys I might be with. Now that I'm older, I keep up with professional sports less, but that might have more to do with the fact that the my hometown teams aren't so good anymore. Are you a fan of professional sports, or will you be avoiding the game today?
Across the Atlantic they say panties, in the UK and Australia we say knickers. Either way it is something we all own. Some people just grab the first pair they find in the drawer after their shower, others make sure that they match their bra. It is also something we are seen in before that point of no return.
What is your style, pleas vote and add your comments. I will do the decent thing and go first!
