i think im similar in some ways, but VERY DIFFERENT in others.. it really all depends.. we have the same sense of humor which is important... but there are other things that are TOTALLY different about us, but i think it keeps thing interesting! .. and there is always something to talk about or do!! He keeps me on my toes thats for sure!

Both. We are both Taureans (Tauruses, Tauri?) so a lot of those characteristics are the same. But in so many other ways, we are like night and day. It works for us though.

Both. My boyfriend and I are alot alike, but very different at the same time. I couldnt date someone who was JUST like me, because Im very shy and no one would ever talk. So I need someone who is a little more outgoing and talkative. but we both want the exact same things out of life, and have basically the same ideas of how to achieve that. Its all about complimenting eachother, and how you fit your puzzle peices together.

We were different, but he made the switch to my side. LOL

Looks wise, people always say we look like brother and sister. Not too sure how to take this, i put it down to we both have dark hair. Personality wise, if he had the same mind frame as me we wouldn't work and vise versa - you need to have some differences to conteract each other.

I think opposing personalities are fun, as long as both people can laugh at themselves and allow teasing and compromise! my boyfriend and I are total opposites and we've been going for 2 years, and the first few months after the new wears off...it gets tough to keep the level of respect up. especially when it comes to politics and how you innately view people! lol. but we NEVER run out of things to discuss or debate. it's great.

My boyfriend and I are entirely different. We're both dorky, but we spend time on totally different things: I read fashion and celeb blogs; he reads the news and updates on tech gadgets...I watch old re-runs of sitcoms, he watches everything else...I like to experiment with eating and going out; he sticks to the same meal everyday and prefers to stay in. Yet, he's completely understanding of my quirks, as I am with his...And we both have a lot of fun making fun of each other.

This is also true in marriage---you've got to have the same perspective and direction towards life and you've got to enjoy the same things. But not all, because it's impossible. Whatever differences you have can be complemented. He is cluttered while I'm organized so I help him organized. He's a spender and I'm a saver so I help him keep track of his expenses and urged him to save. I'm very sensitive but he helps me to keep being practical too. I easily get frustrated and disheartened, but he keeps me going on. Whatever weaknesses one may have, are strengthened by the other--and that's a great relationship.

My husband and I are complete opposites in a lot of ways (he's a Catholic, politically conservative math geek, and I'm an atheist, crazy liberal artist), but we wouldn't have it any other way. I'd hate to date someone who was just like me...what would we talk about?
