Did any of you catch Bravo's new show The Millionaire Matchmaker last night? If not, let me recap it for you. Patti Stanger, a dynamic, loudmouthed, and bossy Los Angeles-based matchmaker, helps find compatible partners for the uber-rich and successful men of LA who were too busy building their careers to find time for love. While Patti does all the legwork finding their dream girls, she makes it very clear that she's no Heidi Fleiss!
Of course matchmaking is an old-fashioned way to find your soul mate, but in this day and age when you have to check your calendar before saying yes to a simple half hour coffee date, some people need all the help they can get in the love department. When you have people as dedicated as Patti, who says there's no better feeling than setting up two people, I say why not take a chance and go for it! But what do you all think? Would you ever hire a matchmaker to help kick start your love life?

No, I wouldn't.
1I like doing it myself
I like doing it myself but the problem is that I never have the time. I literally work 60+ hours a week and weekends I just want to sleep. If I can find love then I'm up for it.
She kind of sounds like Hitch, which to be honest it wouldn't be such a bad idea if there was a date doctor.
2I don't have time to date, so I would definitely use a match maker that would assist in the process.
3I'd use a matchmaker. I'd like someone to pre-screen the dates/matches beforehand. Plus, like most people, I work so it's hard to meet people.
4oh look its 50/50 now =D
i hated the show, i hated her, i hated the stuck up millionaires, i hates the girls who are so desperate
=D
5I have time to date.. just no one to date... so what harm could it do.... I don't believe there is a wrong way to go about finding love... if it works for you then more power to yeah... I'd do it...
6na i think it would take alot of the fun outta it!
7I'm up for pretty much anything at least once!
8I saw it.
I got a kick out of it when the 46 yr old man asked his "date" her favorite band and he had no clue who Linkin Park was.
I mean c'mon that guy needs a clue.
And the other sex toy guy, he didn't look 40!!
9depends. id rather not....
10Why not.
11I like "Matched in Manhattan" It's fun show
I've never seen this 'Millionaire' dating show one...
12i love doing it myself, why not
13I cannot STAND this woman. OR THE SHOW. And no, I probably would not hire a matchmaker, but I'd allow my friends to set me up if need be!
14Nope, not my personal style.
15actually i should have hit 'other' bc i have matchmakers--theyre free and they're my friends so they know me better th an someone who im paying to do it and figure it out based on a form and a few meetings
well ok i haven't had to have a matchmaker in a while but
16No however maybe 10yrs from now my opinion might change. However I just can't picture myself getting set-up by a matchmaker, seems like a waste of time.
17I am open to anything.
18not a chance. why would I pay someone to tell me who I should be with? Or find guys that she thinks I should be with?
19I actually think matchmaking is kind of super-modern now if that's possible. I mean, it used to be that parents used it in arranged marriages, or something of that sort, but now it seems like it would be very useful. The modern woman is busy, and might not really want to waste her time hunting for the perfect mate or blindly thinking "when the time is right," Prince Charming will waltz into her life. That being said, if you aren't really actively looking at the stage when you want a relationship then there would be no point.
I think it would have an advantage over online dating because you could verify that the guy wasn't like, 60 and 300 lbs instead of 35 and charming. Plus, I don't see how finding a guy in a bar or at work (could get complicated) is much better.
I haven't seen the show though, it could be really awful.
20I haven't seen the show either, but I could definitely see the benefits of a matchmaker in these crazy modern times.
