How can people still say this is just a religion, after all the videos that have surfaced? Do those $cientos really believe they can bring peace to the world? Why don't they just do it then?

Scientology is about the individual man or woman, not just Tom Cruise or other celebrities. Its goal is to bring an individual to a sufficient understanding of himself and his life, allowing him to improve his own conditions. Mocking a gentleman and good father like Tom Cruise is just rude. Teamsugar, you can do better.

Hey Everybody, why don't you read the books L. Ron Hubbard wrote about Dianetics and Scientology before you make judgements based on what the media, psychiatry, etc, say about it. You will find it's not what it is portrayed to be in the media. On the contrary, it is TRUTH! No matter how much other say it's something else.
And why does Tom Cruise get attacked so much? The guy is trying to get rid of the psychiatric drugging of children and others. I think that is a great thing to work toward. ( It sounds like people are saying he's crazy because he's too happy. Think about it.

Tom Cruise is called crazy because he seems brainwashed, although there are plenty of other celeb scientologists that don't seem as to be half as nuts as he is.

Scientology (#1 on the Cult Awareness Network) is a combo of some good and bad elements. Some of the "Science" of it is just common sense, but the theology part is all wacky. I actually agree that society is over-medicated, I avoid chemicals and medicines as much as possible.

Hey pargie... Last i checked, Scientology owned the Cult Awareness Network. Original founders were very concerned that scientology was a very dangerous cult, but i think scientology took it over in the mid-1990s.

I agree with everyone else though that has said it - persecuting someone for their religion just because you don't understand it is just plain un-American. That's why our founders came to America, for tolerance.
