So I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years about 6 months ago and I have since lost 70 pounds and become very happy, confident, and a huge party girl. I'm a sophomore in college and have a 4.0 so it's not like partying is getting in the way of my studies but my real question is about hooking up at parties. I never have sex when I party but I make out with a lot of guys and we end up in bed together... no sex but other things. Is this being slutty? All my friends say as long as you're not having sex then it's not being slutty because really, making out isn't that bad! Or am I just in denial?

3I think that you being 70lbs heavier might have caused you to do more with guys due to low self esteem, but it seems like now that you're thinner, you're not handling the new found attention and esteem correctly. This is your opportunity to shine and be pickier. Are you being slutty? You'd have to really look at yourself and see what you would think of another girl who did the things you're doing. It's like a dirty massage parlor, they don't have sex, but a happy ending to a lot of guys seems a bit slutty right? If so then you can understand, and if you're hooking up at parties, people will know this and pursue you more just to fool around. If the guy has HPV, there is a possibility you could get it too, and it causes a bunch of horrible diseases and such. I heard on the news that a girl died from mouth cancer after she "swallowed" and contracted it.
