Diego is my new hero. This 10-year-old Mexican boy was having too much fun over the holidays and didn't want to go back to school. (Makes sense, right?) So little dude decided the best way to avoid it was to glue himself to his bed. His mom had to call the paramedics to free him, but he got some extra cartoon time in, so no harm done, I guess. I used to pretend to be sick and put the thermometer on the radiator, then shake it down to a
believably low fever level, so my mom thought I had a fever... that worked for a whole week. Dude, ya gotta think long-term.
I used to sleep in all my clothes so I would wake up all hot, Suzanne!

first thing I ear in Tuesday morning on the news.. "boy glues himself to bed" these boys... jajajaja..

That's great. I never faked being ill to get out of school, one day i hid in my wardrobe with my school bag, a torch and a pile of books! I made it until lunch time and had to get out because
i needed to use the bathroom... 
Haha.. I never went so far as gluing myself to the bed. A few times I hid under the bed and in the closet.. the first time my parents freaked out and almost called the police because they
thought I'd left the house sleepwalking or something. When I got older though I just went into the bathroom and made gagging/vomiting sounds and poured water into the toilet.
