A re-born is a spooky, realistic-looking doll that, for some women, takes the place of a real baby. (Read LilSugar's take on it here). In the documentary My Fake Baby, you see women taking their re-borns to the grocery store and to the park. (They're made with painstaking craftsmanship by an English mother of four.) One woman is corrected by her grandson who, when she says she has a baby, replies, "It's a doll!" Eeeeek! I'm not surprised that some men purchase Real Dolls cuz they can't interact with real women, but c'mon ladies, I expected more from you! What ever happened to Beanie Baby collecting?!

2Did she place the arms, legs, and head in the beginning into the shape of a swastika?! And why did she put it in the oven?
3oh my, that is very strange... and ppl buy them? That is even creepier (if that is a word).

6Ok it is weird that she makes them, but the people who buy them and specify what they want are waaaay more messed up. They kind of remind me of those porcelain baby dolls they used to sell in ladies' magazines.

8i don't think its right to say that its creepy. i think its sad when people feel so lonely and need to fill such a big void that they need a fake baby.
