The older you get, the harder it is to make new friends. Since people are so set in their ways, it's easy to be lackadaisical about putting forth the effort to get to know new people when you already have good friends, but I feel the more, the merrier! I'm happy to say that I've met many new wonderful people this year that I call friends, but what about you? How many new friends did you make in 2007?

1I made a lot of new friends this year! I think i have even lost count! I have had to much fun meeting a bunch of new people and getting to know them!
2I wish I could meet more people. I moved to a big city three years ago and I've had a hard time replacing my girlfriends down south, who were basically my family.
3I've met about 4 new ones, lost like 6 of 'em, kicked a few loser to the curb and gained a soulmate.

7I put 1-4...I started my clinical placement in January (similar to co-op) and got closer with a few girls from my class. Didn't really make any "friends" with the actual employees where I'm working...but it's all good. I think I'm just too lazy to make new friends haha.

maybe more but 5+ came to mind when i thought about it.
I've made at least 15-20 new friends. Maybe more. I started dating a guy outside of my usual group of friends and now, even though we've stopped dating, I'm friends with all of his friends.
12I've only made a couple of new friends but I really am hoping to make more in the near future....I dropped a lot of friends because they were doing the kinds of things I wasn't into anymore so I felt it was better for me if I didn't hang out anymore. I am moving after I graduate in May and I am really excited to make new friends!
13Barely any lol. I think once I get out of high school I will make more friends. I have met some nice people this year though.

15Quite a few. I temped at a new job in the summer where I met a lot of cool people and I started uni in Sept and I've made a lot of friends, especially the people on my course - we're like one big family.
16A few new friends, but only one really close one...we actually met at the end of 2006, but really developed our friendship this year. She was even in my wedding this summer.

20i started a new part-time job in june and made loads of friends from there.

22I made a lot, not because I moved, but by doing different things, and hanging out with different people.
23I moved to Switzerland, so I had to make new friends. I'm in Lugano and it's amazing. A few locals I've become friends with, but most are expats or from other parts of Switzerland.
24I moved, so I've made a lot of friend here... but the first four months of the year were at college, and I made more than 20 there, too! You can make 20+ friends in a year without moving, believe it or not.
25I've become really close with one girl this year. I'm really happy she came into my life for so many reasons. I also reconnected after many many years with a girl I grew up with who was always one of my all time favorite people, so getting her back is like getting a new friend, too.

27I just moved and started college, and I got a great new part time job working as seasonal, and I just made a BUNCHHHH of new friends. it's so nice.
I'm extremely lucky in that I make friends really easily, and am approachable.

31I went travelling and did volunteer work, so I met loads of new people that way. I always made more friends at uni this year
32I made 20+ friends this year. 8 which I'm sure will last a lifetime, if not more. There are just SOOOOO many amazing people in this world! I like getting to know them. I also developed a lot of older friendships. Funny thing is, I'm not that social. I just meet people, get to know them VERY well, then I speak to them every once in a while. I rarely go out.
