I do believe in casual sex so it's not because of that. My boyfriend got deplyed to Iraq and I had to wait it out for him, longest four months of my life!

i've been in back to back relationships pretty much since high school. I'd say the summer after 11th grade and I'm almost 24 now.

3 years of being selective and worth the wait

I could go forever without having sex. I must be the only one. I'm in a great relationship, but it doesn't matter that much to me. I don't believe in casual sex and havn't had many partners, which I'm proud of.

Simple, just dont ever not be in a relationship and no dry spell.

A year and a half and going. I tried casual sex after my last relationship, but I was left unsatisfied which in turn made me feel KIND OF bad, so I just decided to wait it out for the right person.

27 years. I waited till I got married.

a year and a half (18-20 yrs old). and then i went on a 'casual sex' binge where i racked up the numbers when i was 21/22. not proud of it but that period of my life is over!

6 months...and I was married. Needless to say, that marriage didn't work out! Since 2005, two weeks is about the limit. Much better the second time around!

22 months and counting. These days I've decided to stay celibate. Never had casual sex though.

um before i was in relationship i went without sex for about a year and now that I am in relationship we went once without sex for a month!!! I was very frustrated!

Silent Vamp, I hear that! My ex and I were great friends and roommates but six months was not uncommon.

1 year..1 year of complete and total hell.

1yr and 1 mo between my 1st & 2nd partners. Then 5 months between him and my boyfriend now...which has been a happy, fulfilled year, 8 months and counting

18 months when I was with a christian who didn't believe in sex before marriage.
Then he spontaneously changed his mind one day and it was awful and I wish he hadn't. Then we maybe had sex about once every 3 months? Very depressing. I finally put a stop to it after two and a half years, met somebody new and was at it like rabbits.

I think the longest was six months...and I was in a relationship at that time!!! I really wanted to be out of it, but didn't know how to end it (we had been dating for 4 years). I totally lied and said I was going to "reclaim my virginity" until we got married...yikes lightening will strike me for that one. Finally I got the courage to end it. Since then the longest was maybe a month or two.

usually about a year or so. i don't do the casual sex thing. i don't really know anyone that i could do that with, and how does one go by recruitting such a person??

Since April of 2006 and technically it was sex but I feel I have been without since before that poor excuse for a sex partner. Living in New York city I could get hooked up but it is not worth for me.. kudos for those who can, I guess....

the longest stint for me was 7 months.. but my husband and I have been married for 5 years and he's a Marine so he's gone alot so i'd say we have been sexless for almost 3 out of those 5 years. it sucks.. lol

Other then the periods after kids the longest was 7 months when then bf now hubby was deplyed to kuwait for the iraqi war. Now Im looking at 6weeks to 6 more months bc hes going to training The longest weve ever gone since being married that didnt involve bc we medically couldnt is maybe 4 days.

Funny question because I just broke up with my boyfriend recently and he wanted to wait until marriage. I am 27 years old and divorced... I decided I would try and stay with him even though I don't have the same beliefs about waiting for sex. It has been about 1 1/2 years and I couldn't take it anymore. So 1 1/2 years for me... but unwillingly (in a way).

Over 2 years. It was after a messy divorce and I had alot of issues I was dealing with I was not in a very good place mentally to be dating. It took me a long time to recover.
