Do you feel like you're always the bridesmaid and never the bride? Weddings can be really fun until every weekend of your Summer is consumed with his wedding, her wedding, and their weddings in-between. They can be expensive and time consuming not to mention a bit boring, especially if you're the only single person there. I was lucky enough to only have three weddings this year, but what about you? How many weddings did you attend in 2007?

This is the first summer that I haven't had a sh*tload of weddings to go to...it was nice to be able to just focus on planning mine.
I've been to more weddings than I can even remember in the past 6 years or so...and I've been a bridesmaid 7 times in my life. And I'll be a bridesmaid again next summer too! I don't mind it though, it's fun.

All I heard about for a whole year was how stressful this wedding was to plan. And at the end of the day, it was just like every other wedding. When I get married I'm going to have a small, laid back celebration - I don't want everyone lamenting having to show up! Weddings shouldn't be expensive and full of hassle, for the guests or the wedding party, IMO. It's all about the luuurve.
12My fiance and I don't know many folks in the city where we live so we only went to one. Weddings are on my brain though... I step up to the plate soon.
13I went to 3. So there were two options for me 1-3 and 3-6. I chose 3-6 because that's what it felt like.
Generally poll choices shouldn't overlap though. Doesn't make for good stats.

214, my cousin got married and then i had three of friends´ sisters. All of them were great! My friends are too young to get married yet.
22I am pleased to report that I only went to one this year. When you go to one a year, they really can be very enjoyable. But those years when they're non-stop? I can't muster up much enthusiasm after the 3rd one.

i went to a renewal of vows (they almost divorced, and then got their crap together)
i went to a quickie wedding (preggers, and didn't want to be fat in a wedding gown.
one vegas wedding (not elopement, but it was hot as hell. Taffeta and Nevada don't mix!)
i actually love weddings (if i love the ppl getting married)
i don't have any weddings planned for 2008. maybe one, if she would just book the place! other than that everyone is pretty much married right now (except for me)

35One wedding this year and it was a beautiful fall wedding. It seems the weddings are becoming few and far between with all of my friends already being married.
I love going to weddings.

I'd say that I need a drink, but frankly, I've been tipsy nearly all year!
