It's unofficial dance party day here at GiggleSugar (yee haw!) so what better way to celebrate than to take an electric slide down memory lane and choose your favorite cheesy dance? Who needs mood enhancing drugs when you can do The Chicken Dance, Soulja Boy, Achey Breaky Heart, YMCA, or Hands Up, just to name a few. Happy Hump Day!

Really though, I am most satisfied by anything from this album. Yes, I have it on vinyl. Yes, I listen to it at embarrassing volumes. Kill me now.
1Macarena all the way! It came out when I was a cheerleader in high school and we cheerleaders developed our own version that we would alternate with the classic version. Oh man did we think we were cool.
2Hands up, Baby Hands up. Wow. Brings back memories from Junior high..
3No no, the electric slide all the way. Just look at the name of it - that says it all...xo
4Holy Crap, I forgot about Achy Breaky Heart. Was the song or the dance worse? Oh, Wait - I think his hair was the worst!
5I remember doing the hand gestures to YMCA at the ice rink in jr. high....ahh, to be that innocent again.
6The Humpty Dance!
7tall shoe!
8Does the Thriller dance count? That's totally my favorite. The Electric Slide and the Hand Jive both terrify me.
9I am so not good at dancing in unison; I could never master the Electric Slide.
10I am sooo good at the Macarena though...weird.
And the Soulja Boy dance/song --both terrible. The song is junk; it has like 12 words. Blah.
I can do the Macarena, the Chicken Dance, and the YMCA ... Shhh, don't tell anyone, k?
11i use to love the The Macarena me and my friends use to do it for hours, how embarrassing...
12Lambada!!! It totally brings back memories...
13i dance the forbidden dance . . .
14I like the YMCA! It's easy to do, it's interpreting the letters, and there's plenty room for cool improvising!
15i like Tina's..........
rollin'
rollin'
rollin' down the river!!
lol
