We all know what to expect from McDonald's: cheap, greasy, second-rate fare. While the McMenu in Japan maintains the same quality (or lack thereof), it adds a few "specialty" sandwich options to the line-up. Watch this dude examine and taste test two of the most popular items on the menu— the Filet O' Shrimp and the McPork. He proves he can stomach the greasy goodness, but could you?

So what's the funny part?
1Filet O' Shrimp is weird? I don't eat it (or go to McDonald's) because I'm a vegetarian, but there's shrimp in everything here. Shrimp-flavor potato chips and shrimp pizza seem to be pretty popular.
2I've had Japanese McDonald's. They have an amazing chicken salad sandwich, and most McD's have a McCafe inside as well. During the summer, a special egg-themed sandwich makes an appearance.
The burgers taste the same :/
3I'll pass.
4I HAVE eaten at McDonald's in Japan. I didn't get anything weird, though. My bro and I ordered Big Macs every time we went. I think a total of three times during a ten day trip. Instead of lettuce and tomatoe, they put a fried egg. They were actually really good.
5The fried egg is a special thing...the tamago big mac set.
6I ate at McDonalds' many times while I lived in Japan. Everything tasted a lot fresher and wasn't so greasy. Plus, the portions were usually smaller so you didn't have to fill so guilt ridden about eating it every now and then (especially when you wanted to save your money for shopping and sight seeing)). I won't eat fast food (or out really much) in the states...the portions are ridiculously huge.
i'm not a huge mcdonald's fan, but it's always interesting how different the various mcd's burger taste...
7I don't at McDonald's in America so I would not in Japan either!
