When you date someone exclusively, it's inevitable that you claim one side of the bed. But when your man goes out of town, or when you sleep apart, do you stick to your assigned side? I have always been a middle-of-the-bed sleeper, but what about you? Do you stick to your side of the bed, do you linger over to his side, or do you enjoy the luxury of having the entire bed all to yourself and plop right in the middle like me when you sleep alone?

On a random note - I have that heart duvet from IKEA.
1My boyfriend is a big guy... he's 6'5" and I'm 5'5" ... even though he tries to share, when he's here I don't have much room
However ... when he's out of town on work I sometimes stay over at his house where he has a California king bed.. and I flop face down right in the middle and just chill there all night.. haha
2I take over the whole bed. I tend to do this when he's home, so forget it when he's away!
3I take over the the entire bed. Well as much as I can when the pets don't stretch out everywhere. My bed! Mine!
4I'm one of those diagonal sleepers. Like if I end up going to bed before the hubby and he comes in an hour later, I'm completely sprawled all over the place. I've told him to just push me to my side or something, but he doesn't want to wake me up so he ends up on the couch. Luckily this only happens once a month or so.
5I'm ALL OVER the whole bed, so sides doesn't matter here for my case. 'Sides, he doesn't like sleeping without me...lol
6I stay squished on my side, and I never realized it until now. Next time I go to bed before he gets home, I'm spreading out!

10The only person that shares my bed is my dog, so I NEVER have the whole bed to myself anymore. That's OK thos because I sometimes think he might be better than a bf
11I stay on my side mainly because his sides stinks. He sweats a lot at night, so we have to change the sheets often, but it still smells differently then my side.
12We never really had sides until this year. I thought it was always whatever side we fell asleep on. But now that I think about it I have mostly always claimed the left and he takes the right. Thats how it is now. But when I sleep at my place and he sleeps at his I tend to sleep in the center of the bed. However, I have been known to push him completely to one side and spread out.
13When my husband is gone, I usually take over the hole bed, but lean towards his side. I miss the smell of him when he's gone, and have a really hard time sleeping alone, so it helps. We made a pact that we will always go to bed together, so we don't have a problem with one taking up more than the other and having to push one over.
However, my husband is a diagonal sleeper so there are some nights when I'm squished between him and the cat.
14When my boyfriend's not at home, I sleep on my side, but with my plush animals;)

17I stay on my side. My bed is king sized and i like being close to my bedside table. When we travel I sleep on the same side as well.
18When my husband was in Iraq I always stayed on my side of the bed, keeping his side "his" helped me through the separation somehow. Our 3 cats eventually took over his side to keep me company at night. When he came home they were so upset that "their" side had been taken back by him though, hahaha. It was cute and we've all learned to share now
19Thatsmypurse...my exact answer! My hubby is in IRAQ now and I dont sleep on his side of the bed at all. It helps me with the separation as well. He will be home soon in one month...I cant wait! THEN I will BE all over his side of the bed and mine..hint hint!

22I spread my self across the entire bed and enjoy the room(even though i really do miss him while he's away) because i know it won't be long before he gets back and i have to share it again.
23I love to sprawl out right in the middle. Though I usually don't have that much room - when he's away I let the dogs sleepin the bed (its our little secret) and they are pillow and blanket hogs, just like their daddy.
24I take over his side of the bed. It's warmer and smells like him.
25I miss him so much, so i pretend he is there. I know i know weird right, but he is always out on trips for work! When i don't miss him is stick to my side of the bed, like always!
