A few times, though, someone has purse called me and I got their whole convo's on voicemail...very interesting I must say...

so it can't call anyone. But my hubby's
phone was in his coat pocket with a Homer
Simpson PEZ dispencer and Homer called Japan!
No joke! We got the bill and we were like
what the heck?? That is what happened. Homer
made some other calls that way too and then
I got my hubby a flip phone so no more Homer
calls! lol

I've done it but it didn't get me in trouble, just made fun of a little. That should teach people not to do devious things, you always get caught somehow.

I have once, when I first got my phone I called my mom and when I heard the ringing I thought it was my phone ringing and went to answer it, I thought she was calling me. Nothing bad was said but it was the funniest conversation ever.

I think that if you are the kind of person who would disrespect a friend or family member while talking to someone else then you kind of deserve whatever happens if you accidentally call someone.

Yes, I have done it. It was a few years ago. I was fooling around with this guy and we were having a uhm, dirty conversation and my dad got so angry that he had to hear it. My debate was you could have hung up. Luckily we never had a good relationship anyway.

I have a razor now, no more purse calls.

though it is funny when im with my boyfriend, and his phone starts ringing and he says, "you're calling me." and my phone is in my bag.

thankfully i just recently found keylock on my slvr (* then # -- then the same to unlock it)

Ahahaha, one of my friends' phones does this. I've heard some real guy's locker-room types of conversations.

but I do want to say that I wish there was still a LOCK feature on my flip phone! The kids still get a hold of it and try to make random calls!

I keylock my cell ALL THE TIME!!! My friends always do this but seriously...hasn't happened to me. Hopefully it never would!!

my friend alen always complains that people call him all the time because he's always first on their list. at least that's his excuse for not picking up my calls.

i always wind up doing this to my husband, and it's usually when we're walking somewhere together. he'll take his phone out of his pocket, sigh, and go, "where's your phone?" my purse has dialed him. he did this to me the other night, so i guess turnabout is fair play.

i just got a RIZR so i'm praying that will not happen anymore. i get so frustrated with the key lock that i never use it.

it's happened to me several times when i forget to lock the keypads of my phone, i get in trouble not with what ive been talking about when that happens but with the length of the phonecalls that it makes. for some reason, the friggin keys choose the overseas numbers to call instead of the local ones. and THAT is how i get in trouble with purse calls!

Yes I've purse called someone and it was horrible. I had this little Nokia phone and I immediately bought a flip phone after that.

I haven't, but my ex boyfriend used to pocket call me a lot. I'd be listening to him gas up the car, watch TV or whatever. I'd be SCREAMING into the phone, but he never heard me.

Fluffyhelen - YIKES!! That's probably the worst! Once I sat on my phone while I was in the car arguing with my husband.. and it called one of our mutual friends. Our friend heard our entire argument! How embarrassing!

Though I do have a funny cell phone story. My S/O is my speed dial #2. On my mom's phone her speed dial #2 is my dad. Well, we have the same phones... she used mine and accidently called my S/O (instead of my dad)... she was like 'hello?...?" and he thought it was me (b/c of his caller ID) and then didn't recognize the voice... it was hilarious!!! They were going back and forth ... "Who is this?"

i used to have a phone that would call 911 if you held down the 9 button for a few seconds. i guess i did that once because 911 called me back to ask if i was ok.

once, a friend of my boyfriends called him by accident, incidentally he happened to be talking about ME and making up some stupid rumor (all of his friends talk about me for some reason, i'm like the celebrity of his neighborhood--dont ask me why!) anyway he went on and on, making up some ridiculous story. needless to say he got his ass kicked the next day, aah satisfaction

yes, but my phone was actually on the passenger seat of my car, so i'm not really sure how it dialed my friend's number. i must have pressed the wrong button when taking it out of my purse or something. the next day my friend was like "i got a voicemail from you singing." lol i apparently had been singing along to a CD in my car and that's what got recorded. oops.

I've never called anyone accidentally, but my phone has a problem that when I use the headset, it won't hang up at the end of a call. I accidentally left a 5 minute voicemail for my boss and she could hear me swearing at traffic! We laughed about it-- good thing she's cool!

i've always had a flip phone so i haven't purse called anyone, but i always get 'pocket called' from my dad. he thinks he's really cool so he's always getting new phones and he never knows how to work them and he always accidently calls me!!! he'll call later on and say "Hey, i noticed i called you twice today. sorry!"

I accidentally purse called 911 before!!!! they called back to see if everything was okay and I had no idea what was going on LOL I was apologizine profusely though!! Very embarassing....I dunno how it happened! I didn't actually dial 9-1-1..it was more a "secret" speed dial number on my phone that I had hit...=/ still dunno which one it was....

and I've have people call me from their phones..and i hear like...car radios, pocket shuffling, n'stuff =/
It's helped me once before too cuz I caught my bf's ex talking trash about me this way...phone was on- all I heard was moving sounds and voices....then I realized who's voice it was! they didn't know I could hear...that was a baaaaa~~~d day. Oh boy..you wanna see the definition of pissed? hahahah

I'm a little paranoid about it so I check my call log from time to time just to make sure. Ive never had my phone call other people but other peoples phones have called me before. Ive caught a guy cheating on me because I called him and he meant to press the hang up button but he pressed the answer button instead. Other than that its only been muffle sounds or small random conversations. I try not to be nosy so i just hang up.
