Russell Crowe was quoted in the current issue of Men's Journal saying, "I love going shopping, I have a black belt in it. My wife [Danielle] really appreciates that in me."

While he doesn't look like a metrosexual per se, it sure does sound like he likes to shop like one! So ladies, tell me: Do you think it's a turn on or a turn off for a man to be a full fledged shopper?

Hmmmm..if he is into it more than I am then TURNOFF but if he is like my hubby..patient doesnt "really" complain then its a TURNON
1Hmmmm...if he were into it more than me then its a TURNOFF but if he is just patient and doesnt complain, like my husband, then thats a TURNON!
2Didnt mean to post twice SORRY!!!
3it really depends on what kind of shopper he is, i'm not the type who would spend hours and hours in a mall, just looking for stuff so if he's like that - forget it. if he's someone who's cool with basically shopping for stuff from time to time, then i guess it's ok.
4if he shops a lot it means he prob dresses well lol and that is a turn on. and agreed- if he spends more time than me its a turn off but if he can keep up with me and not be bored- that's a turn on!
5its def a turn on i wish my partner would shop with me it says nothing about ur sexuality it means u care enough about ur image to se what out there and look great!!!!!
6My ex hubby was a shop-a-holic - it's definitely a TURN OFF. I don't like shopping. He thought spending an afternoon at the mall was sport.
7I really dislike going shopping and my BF pretty much feels the same way. If he really loved it I wouldn't care - but I wouldn't accompany him on his shopping sprees.
I dated a guy once who was good at picking out clothes for me. That was kind of nice because I have zero sense of style.
So I guess I'm undecided.
8My husband likes to shop online...that's his thing. Which I don't mind. However, around xmas-time, he starts getting these outrageous ideas in his head that cost a gazillion dollars, and I have to slap him around a bit to bring him down to reality.
So he could do some damage to our bank account if I let him.

10wouldn't want my guy to be that into himself. i find the whole past-time pretty shallow
11i like how my boyfriend doesn't like to shop. because when he does shop with me it's because he wants to do something for me so he treats me real nice and gives me back rubs while i shop.
12all he requires is that we go into gamestop
Turn off. That's my job!!
13turn ON. knowing what looks good on you and what fits and why is important. guys want to feel good about the way they look as much as girls do, right? and there's nothing hotter than a man in a cashmere sweater that he picked out himself...
14There's nothing sexier(physically) than a man who dresses well AND smells good.
SERIOUSLY. It makes me weak in the knees, especially the part about them smelling good.
15Turn-on if he's a good shopper; turn-off if he buys ugly items.
16well he doesn't say what he's shopping for does he? is it gadgets? home decor, yard stuff? my dh likes all that type of shopping and i'm glad about that. to much into clothes would be weird. if my dh started getting into accessories all of a sudden i'd wonder, lol.
17He loves to hit Circuit City, Home Dept and Comp USA. He's also great about shopping with me for clothing, etc. and finding me things to try on that I wouldn't normally look at but always end up looking good n. But I agree with lickety; if he got into accessories for himself, I think I'd have some issues!
18I can't say a man enjoying shopping particularly does a thing for me.
19my boyfirend loves to shop for him..he has good sense of clothes.what fits what will look good etc...he has good sense for what will look good on me aswell..look taking him shopping with me cause he will choose things that i wouldnt even look at
20I think he has to be somewhat into it because otherwise he'd probably get annoyed with me.
21i like to shop by myself (which isn't very often) and there are very few times i want my bf to join me but he's pretty good about putting up with it. so yeah, a guy that shops too much is def a turn-off.
22I don't think it's a turn on or a turn off.
If my boyfriend doesn't mind shopping with me, great but I think it's more because he has high tolerance for just about anything and would never rush me. Same goes for him when he wants to go to places I normally would not go and spend time at shopping around.
I just find it considerate if he's willing to go along with me, not so much a turn on.
23I think it would be SO bad if I was dating a shopoholic like me! I would spend so much more money, and that's dangereous!!!
24My man is a pretty good shopper, a fast shopper, he knows what he is looking for and doens't beat around the bush like I do...
He comes with me and is really good about not complaining, if it's over an hour, though, I should bring a friend instead.
OK have an issue with the metros, I dont mind my man shopping for himself and keeping himself looking good and so on. HOWEVER I do have a problem if he shops just as much or even more than I do, gets a mani and pedi, wax/threads his eye brows, binki wax, and gets his hair done every week. - thats just not kool in my book, no kool at all.
25I like to shop, and so does the hubby. He shops for himself and the fam, and he's got great fashion sense. He's always buying me clothes, so I would have to say TURN ON.
However, I personally prefer to shop by myself. Because as someone else said above, he doesn't lolligag like I do.
26A turn on?
Its neither a turn on or turn off, whatever.
27my bf definitely likes to shop with me, because we have a good understanding of things. he'll go in girly stores with me, and i'll go in video game stores with him. we both like bookstores and shoestores, and wandering aimlessly through other funny stores in the mall a la hot topic.
28My boyfriend likes to shop with me - actually he just likes to spend money, period. I am not saying he is standing right next to me helping me pick out what shade of pink I should wear, but we go to the mall together and he wanders to the sections he likes and we meet back up. If I have a question on something I will ask him.
29I love the fact my b/f goes shopping with me but its not his favorite thing to do but at least he does it for me
30Turn on! I hate when men act like the are to masculine to go into a store.
31Turn on! My boyfriend is my best friend and my best shopping buddy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
32This question is like asking whether it's a turn on or turn off that a guy wears socks.
33If its as a "buddy-shopper" then a total TURN ON. If he goes to the mall say in the middle of something just because "there's a HUGE sale" then no...total TURN OFF.
