It's Friday, and you have a whopping zit that you need to get rid of ASAP before your hot date on Saturday night. I am here to offer some quick and easy fixes to get your skin pimple free!

- Toothpaste (not gel) is a great home remedy that will dry out your zit and speed up the healing process, so before you go to bed, douse your pimple with toothpaste and hope for the best come morning!
- Use a chilled Chamomile tea bag as a compress on your pimple to reduce swelling and redness.
- Dab Benzoyl peroxide on your problem area to get rid of the bacteria living inside your pimple.
- A mixture of crushed up aspirin and water has been known to de-clog pores and heal pimples faster.
- You might think that dirty skin causes zits, but that is incorrect so don't abrasively scrub your face clean, instead wash with a gentle soap or cleanser.
- Even though you have a date you've been looking forward to all week, don't over compensate with make up to cover up your pimple, it will only look worse. Even if you want to touch your face, avoid primping and fussing with it at the dinner table.
The most important thing to remember is to exude confidence even if your skin is flawed and have fun!

1Wow! Perfect timing!!! I just got a massive zit on my forehead (of course) and I have all these parties this wekeend!!!!
2Just for the love of god don't pick it!! I hate it when people do dat- scars??
3the aspirin and water remedy works well...I've used it a number of times
4Another thing to remember is that no matter how much you notice it, the other person probably won't unless you point it out. I think my face looks like a train wreck half the time and my boyfriend thinks my skin is virtually flawless! : )
5I've used the toothpaste method and that seems to work pretty well as well.
6The toothpaste definitely works!! I haven't tried any of the other things though.
7ahhh...i wish i had seen this last week when my face broke out!
btw, does anyone know how many parts water/aspirin you use for that remedy?
8I put Visine on it. It takes the red out (of zits, too!).
9Aspirin remedy - I use about 6 uncoated aspirin tablets and just a COUPLE DROPS of water, so that it turns into a paste...you don't want to put too much water or its too runny and doesnt stay put on your face...depending on the area, this should be more than enough to adequately cover your T-Zone
10Sometimes the toothpaste works to help it heal faster, and sometimes no. It's always a hit and miss; it may overdry the pimple making it red and leave a dry patch which actually takes it longer to heal. I recommend using sulfer (as stinky as it is) over toothpaste. But toothpaste is definitely worth a try if you don't have any sulfer treatment.
I'm trying that aspirin remedy!
11Definitely try aspirin...not only does it help pimples, it leaves your skin so soft and smooth...and helps even out your skin tone
12I never would have thought about the aspirin! I'll have to try that.
I also agree that most other people won't even notice your little friend, unless you point it out.
13i feel like a professional on this subject. i've had terrible skin for years and after almost giving up on trying every product under the sun, i googled acne. i came across this website that was created by a guy who suffered from acne and created this "regimen" to heal acne. i started using his regimen and literally overnight i saw results. here's the website: http://www.acne.org/
hope this helps!
14Perfect timing with this post... I've got a massive zit on my chin that WON'T GO AWAY! So frustrating... I thought zits were for our teen years.... guess not!
15Whoa! Easy about that toothpaste tip! Be sure you don't leave that stuff on too long. Chemical burn hilarity ensues.
16The toothpaste thing doesn't really work. I tried it again a couple days ago and no luck.
17I like to use neosporin on zits. It's anti-bacterial and it heals.
18Aspirin remedy works!
19This is so useful! I have Retin-A but sometimes you just need a quick solution without a prescription.
20If it's a really deep, cystic blemish then a cortisone shot from a dermatologist will do the trick. It takes a little more time and planning but if you can swing it, I think it's the best.
21i have had great overnight results with tea tree oil over the past few weeks.
