Wow that is crazy!
1That's so true though...I was one of those little girls who thought I was always fat (really I was normal), but it's the magazines seeing those skinny tall beautiful women that make you feel that way.
I love the tag line: Talk to your daughter before the beauty industry does. Really true.
2Now that is a wonderful video.
3Holy CRAP. That was disturbing. I'm glad I don't have daughters! How could you ever hope to counteract all that marketing?
Loved the tagline. Wish more moms would listen. The couple of moms I know with daughters are totally into the whole thinner/younger/prettier thing and it's bizarre.
4God, that first part (before the eating disorders and plastic surgery) seemed like a flip through of what I feel I see everyday. What can already grown women, who've been exposed to all of this crap and alreayd feel bad about ourselves do to reverse the damage?
5It is really hard to stay grounded and know that you are beautiful in your own way when the world seems to want you to think otherwise, hopefully this will be the start to some changes in marketing. I only wish that they would air that campaign in the US not only in the UK.
6Wow this really makes you realize hoe advertisement really affects us. It's everywhere and you definately can't escape from it. I find the message of this clip is not only talk to children but also talk it out with other people when you feel down about your image and they will try to help you see the real you.
7that's an amazing video
8Disturbing. Woof.
9Scary but True video! Well done!
10Wow that's some crazy video!
11Well done.
12I hope parents listen!
blown away. I was a thin child when I was younger, & everyone kept comparing me to my stick thin sister... & now I am really fat, yeah don't know how to explain that.
13It is sad but true
14awesome.
