Everything, The smell, the colors of the leaves, The feel of the weather, the clothes that we wear, the pumpkins, turkey, the smell of wood burning etc...Everything. The list goes on & on. I wish I could live in a place where it looked, smelled, and taste like fall all year round.

Fall is my absolutely favorite season...I'd happily trade a fortnight of steamy summer days for just one crisp fall afternoon. After months of heat, the cool morning breezes these days are such a welcome relief!

And...true confessions time...I have a bit of a "thing" for sweaters. *swoon* I think I could build an entire wardrobe of nothing but. =)

Haha It's true Plasticapple! At stars hollow it's always fall! That's one of the things I love the most about that show. When I watch that show, I feel like it's fall, and I feel like I'm right there.

The fall is an awesome part of the year. It's sooo COLORFUL with all the leaves on the trees displaying those gorgeous colors of theirs; it's so pretty!!

Absolutely, I agree with the ladies above- going out of my way to step on crunchy leaves! I also love the crisp air and that smoky smell that's so unique to the season. And of course, it's the time of year when pumpkin spice lattes and apple cider come out, so all in all fall makes me a happy gal. =D

You can wear your favorite coats you waited all year for, cuddling with my love by the fire place, going for coffee and watching movies inside with the sound of raindrops falling in the background.

Unfortunately, I currently live in a climate that doesn't have a proper fall. However, I always miss fall in the Midwest-picking apples, going through corn mazes, drinking spiced cider, stepping on crunchy leaves. The distinct, faint smell of wood burning in the distance; the crisp, cool air; the vibrant colors of the leaves; the anticipation of a new school year. Wow, that's almost enough to make me want to move back to Ohio! However, I'd want to move right back to Texas when winter hits.

i loooove the smell, the leaves, and decorating! halloween is my favorite, and looking forward to thanksgiving at my grandmothers in connecticut! she is the best cook, and there isn't a better place to go than new england in fall!

I like the crispness in the air. Walking past apple orchards and smelling the apples that have fallen to the ground. I love the color the deer change to. It's much darker to blend in with the tree bark. I love the calls of the wild turkeys as they do their crazy little runs through the woods. I love the sound of the rustling leaves and how they look when they flutter through the air to the ground. I love that it's football season and that every Sunday becomes family day so we can watch the games together.I love that all I want to do is bake!!! The weather is cool so the house won't get too hot from the oven. Pies, cakes, streudels and even applesauce!! I love that it feels like nature is bursting forth with one last rush of color and glory before taking a well deserved nap in the winter. I love wearing sweatshirts and feeling snuggly in my clothes. And I still love running through piles of leaves like I did as a kid. Only now no one gets mad because we live in the country and no one really minds! it is my favorite time of the year.

I love the look, it's beautiful outside, even when it pours, and even in the Heat, the colors are remarkable, and if you live in mountains or a forest, it's even better because you can spend a whole day photographing leaves, trees, and other things!

When people start up their woodstoves and the smell hits the air. Sigh. And I love the colors, the pumpkins, the coldness, everything!

Fall makes me fall in love! With everything around me.. everything feels so peaceful & beautiful. All I wished I could do was sit around and do nothing, watching the crunchy orange leaves fall.

And obviously, fall fashion is "hot". Layers & colours. Everyone can dig out their hats, stockings, scarves!

Its time for fall

I love the smell. The air, the earth; it all smells different in the Fall. And I LOVE smell of hearty meals or baking that often wafts through the air as you walk down the street. The clothes aren't bad, either.

The fact that I don't have to worry about my allergies as much, warm/comfort foods, I love fall clothing (jeans, sweaters, boots, little jackets), fall colors, school, the weekend rush because everyone is busy during the week.

The smell, the colors, the clothes, the holidays, the food, EVERYTHING!!! I love fall.

I love going to football games when its cool outside and then cold at night. I love it when the Christmas decorations start going up in the stores and I always think "Isn't too early for that?" I love the colors of the trees and wearing all of my very cool fall & winter clothes. Unfortunately in the deep south, it won't get cool until mid-October, early November

I love the smell of fall, the colors, the foods that are customary to the season... I love filling the house with spicy smells by making pumpkin pies, gingerbread cookies and apple cider. I love the chill in the air that seems to permeate everything. I love pulling out my sweaters and scarves and bundling up to do something. I love just about everything about fall!
