Michelle looks beautiful in that dress!
Big greeting for India.
Mrs Singh looks so simple and elegant, while Mrs Obama looks overdone and gaudy.
Clearly O's squiished boobs are making Mr and Mrs Singh uncomfortable.
I would have worn something simpler, but I think Michelle looks great. This dress is a little more "awards ceremony" than "visiting dignitary dinner".
Not sure it it was entirely appropriate for the occasion, but I do LOVE the dress and think she looks fab in it.
I usually think Mrs. Obama looks great, but I'm so far from liking this. For starters, the material looks really cheap from a distance. Up close it's beautiful, but from far away it's very Forever21. (There's nothing wrong with F21, but when you're married to the POTUS, you need to step it up a couple notches.) Second, look at what Ms. Kaur's wearing. Sleeves. Yes, Michelle has a wrap, but it's obviously not covering her shoulders at all times. I personally would have worn something with a higher neckline and at least little cap sleeves covering my shoulder. I know evening gowns with sleeves are hard to find these days, but again...she's the First Lady, she has access to just about every American designer.
I am, however, loving the stack of bangles. Very appropriate.
not appropriate, her boobs are popping out!
I think she looks beautiful - and the dress was made by an Indian-American designer as well - but as others said, more for a red carpet than a state dinner. I think she looks good no matter what she wears. She would have also looked nice in a sari, maybe with more color or embellishments.
Michelles dress doesnt fit her, as usual.
