I've never understood how people can be afraid of balloons, pickles or other such things. I think it's silly, but then I know there are people who think my fear of spiders and snakes is silly too.

this is nuts!! I feel for her but seriously..... balloons?!?! Clowns I can see but balloons?!?! Maybe one popped in her face as a child or something. Something like that had to happen to her in order for her to this afraid of a balloon.

She looks like her feelings are real but usually people act on those talk shows.
and why would she go there if she knows people are going to be watching her and making fun of her,then they are playing with ballons on purpose and she acts like a maniac?

This stuff is totally fake, they create the entire set as a "house of horrors" where she keeps running into her phobia, so she can go crazy and the audience can have its laugh. I'm sure there are people who genuinely have phobias that odd, but they're not on Maury, they're in a doctor's office.

You know what this is? People looking for attention. They see someone with a genuine phobia and then they trick themselves into thinking that they are afraid of something. It's absolutely ridiculous and FAKE.

a phobia of balloons is just as genuine as any other phobia, how exacly do you know its fake?

I don't know if I believe this, I mean she looks truly scared but like soemone before me said it IS Maury. Its not the fact that she's a afraid of balloons but the fact that she's on maury that makes me doubt her.
I have a terrible spider phobia, and a lot of insects in general, I also HATE lose strands of hair, if they're not mine I go crazy. I don't start screaming but they gross me out compeltely.

I know there are people out there who actually have these phobias and thats sad... but I seriously could not stop giggling just seeing in the corner "MY FEAR OF MUSTARD AND PICKLES IS RUINING MY LIFE!"

I've seen the picklephobia, it was hilarious. I really shouldn't laugh but I loved how they brought her to a pickle factory.

people let their fears control them...it's cause human beings are just that weak..minded. :sighs:

i'd be pissed at maury for bringing out balloons.
and i'd be more pissed at the people in the audience laughing at me.

but it was kinda funny.
i think i like the paternity tests better though.
