I don't have a cubicle, but I keep a lot of memorabilia on my desk. One thing I have is my Hoberman Sphere from my friend. I know it's a toy but I don't care. lol!
This is why I hate being a social work intern! My desk doesn't really belong to me, and when it does, I won't want to have personal photos on their out of protecting my privacy. Ah well. I
get to pick out my own calender...lol.
I read somewhere that its a good idea to keep personal stuff at a minimum otherwise it gives the impression your mind is elsewhere. Don't know if I agree or not but personally speaking, I
wouldn't go overboard, a couple photos is fine.
I have never really gotten into bringing personal stuff to the office. I'm not really a picture kind of gal, and everything else looks kinda silly to me....
I totally personalize my own office!! I have picture frames, wall art and pretty asian paperweights. As someone else said, I spend most of my waking hours here! It's practically my second
home.

1I have som pictures up and my own little knick knacks!
I don't at this job, but I've worked at a few where permission is definitely needed.
2I love having my own office full of pix of my family and friends and all of my pirate memorabilia. It makes me happier to be there.

8I have too much stuff at my cubicle. I need to tone it down a bit, but the stuff I have are all great conversation starters.

13I'm at my desk 12 to 14 hours a day...if I didn't have personal items at my desk I'd want to kill myself!
